My home... This might sound a little crazy, but I'm still trying to figure out what it's like now. I was inside, for a really long time, and I didn't get to see much of what was happening. Then it was only a few minutes after I left that I wound up here.

A witcher can use magic, if that's what you're asking. Small spells, that don't take much concentration and can be cast instantaneously. Could learn more, but it's not necessary to the job, and leaves one hand open for a sword.

The monster kind. Got two swords. Silver for magical creatures, vampires, wraiths, leshy. Steel for humans. But both kill monsters, if you take my meaning.

Leo warned me that learning magic tricks might ruin the magic, but I think it's awesome. I like learning something new. I think it would be really cool to do this to Ma once she's out from the hospital. I bite my lip and take the coin, trying to copy what Shadow Moon showed me.

The coin's kinda... big...

It slips, and I reach out to grab it quick. I get it before it drops to the ground and I start to laugh, because I think I look pretty silly right now.

I need bigger hands.

I was inside for a really long time too, in Room. Ma had me in Room, and we didn't get out until after I turned Five, because I grew big enough to understand about what's real. Old Nick kept us in Room and wouldn't let us out.

I squeeze Michelle's hand.
