HOW ABOUT A FRIDAY NIGHT MEME?
Muns: Post here listing all of the characters you play (you might want to list journals, too, just for reference) or are thinking of playing.
Everyone: Ask the MUNS anything about the GAME or THEIR PUPS, because we all know the muns will answer when the characters won't. They can be specific questions ("How does he feel about her?") or general questions ("Why did you choose this pup?", "How do you channel them?", etc.) You can even have pups ask the questions, but ANSWERS are coming from the MUNS.

If Effie had to live in a district not the Capitol, where do you think she'd have fit best?
no subject
As for Effie. Hmmmm. I think she'd have fit in to District 1 because of the wealth. It's focused on luxury goods and all that which is kind of what Effie is about. I am trying to picture her in one of the harder labor districts where lumber or mining is the thing and I just CAN'T. My personal canon is that she ends up in 12 with Haymitch after the war is over, but that's just me being a huge and unapologetic shipper. ;) I think she'd actually fit in there quite well once the revolution is over. But certainly not before.

Are you considering doing full-on possession with Vanessa at any point?
no subject
As for Vanessa. HELL. YES. But I don't want her to lose her demon permanently. They can try an exorcism or something along those lines just for the drama and the wacky thread fun times, but she would never want to be 'normal' so that's not an option. She keeps her demon. But yeah, I think playing out a full possession would be INCREDIBLE.

Well, as I suppose one can't plot the inevitable downfall of the inferior human meatsacks ALL DAY EVERY DAY, my feeling is that it's very similar -- she's likewise going to spend a lot of time reading, listening to music, going here and there about the city to find out what sort of places people congregate, these days, Which is totally a "plotting inevitable downfall" thing, but she's also quite genuinely curious -- she LIKES social excitement and she didn't get much of it when she was alive. I suspect she will also be stringing along a couple of humans who don't know she's all fangy and grrr, because that's just fun times.

Does Effie miss Panem? Does she want to know about the future and what happens with the 75th games and after?
no subject
Effie does NOT miss Panem. She did at first but that's just because she was scared of change and she didn't understand how things work in Darrow. She still misses the luxuries of living in the Capitol (fashions, quality makeup, that kind of thing) but she doesn't miss being afraid all the time. And having Peeta and Katniss in the city means she doesn't really have anyone back in Panem that she's worried about other than Haymitch. She does worry about Haymitch but she's sure he's managing to drink himself into a stupor just fine without her. She's oddly REALLY happy right now. As for knowing the future, I don't believe she thinks there is anything TO know. She hasn't worked out that anything fucked up went down with the quarter quell. YET. (I'm planning a canon update after Mockingjay 1 comes out because EEEEEEE). But right now she doesn't know anything about them going back to the arena or revolution or anything so she doesn't realize there is anything to know. You know Effie. It's safer living in the moment.

I keep meaning to, but when I tried it with Anna she found it too creepy!!!
That is so very Effie. I, and Peeta, are both happy she's happy here.

What do you think of the discussion that Vanessa wears Victorian Mourning garb all through PD and what that means...like who she's grieving for.
no subject
I think she's grieving for her mother. Officially. The rules about mourning clothes for Victorians were pretty hard core, especially for a parent or other close relative. But I also think she's in mourning for her previous life. For Mina, I think. I'm not sure she will ever really move on from that. I try to imagine her out of mourning clothes and I just can't do it.

What was Effie's opinion of Snow back in Panem?
(More self-indulgently), how would Effie react if she was to see the broadcast where Finnick admitted to his forced prostitution?
no subject
As for Finnick, WE WILL FIND OUT! \o/ I am so excited for the next movie I could lay down and die. But here's the thing. My take on this may differ from what actually plays out in the movie but this is my take anyway and we'll just have to see if it gets jossed by canon. I think initially she is MORTIFIED. Because she probably knows a lot of the people Finnick names and the idea that they are guilty of the crimes he's laying out is just beyond anything she can deal with, really. Additionally, there is the shame that comes from the fact that she very likely knew what was going on but refused to admit it to herself and so there is that level of complicity. He's peeling back the skin of her entire Capitol world and exposing the rot underneath and that hurts and is terrifying. So yeah. I think shame and pain are the too big emotions. She doesn't doubt for a second that he's telling the truth, it just hurts like hell to know the world you come from is that sick.

As for what she hates, when she first showed up she hated the lack of style. The drabness of everything. But now the thing she hates is the uncertainty. She's just discovered that people disappear as randomly as they appear and it's scared the crap out of her. The idea of losing her loved ones or waking up right back in the Capitol without warning is terrifying and she absolutely hates it. So..yeah.
