meme: reverse questions

HOW ABOUT A FRIDAY NIGHT MEME?

Muns: Post here listing all of the characters you play (you might want to list journals, too, just for reference) or are thinking of playing.

Everyone: Ask the MUNS anything about the GAME or THEIR PUPS, because we all know the muns will answer when the characters won't. They can be specific questions ("How does he feel about her?") or general questions ("Why did you choose this pup?", "How do you channel them?", etc.) You can even have pups ask the questions, but ANSWERS are coming from the MUNS.

Well, I can tell you it isn't that Vanessa thought she was stupid. Just innocent. Vanessa really, really needed to believe that Mina was innocent. And doing naughty things and keeping secrets was her way of being NOT innocent.

How did she feel about Vanessa. Since you brought it up. ;)

There probably was a time when Mina didn't think innocence and stupidity were pretty much synonymous. That time is not now. <3

Confused. Wanting. Possessive. And not a little frightened, both by how different it was than anything she'd felt before and by the absolute dead certainty that she wasn't supposed to.

All of this is so delightful I can't even tell you. Although I figure you already know. ;)

I assume she isn't frightened or confused anymore?

Not even slightly. She wants. It's very -- pure. Straightforward.

That too!

I SHOULD ASK YOU MORE OF THE THINGS. Let me think let me think! Well. How is Vanessa going to feel about realizing that Mina wanted her?

Unsurprised, I think. I mean she has her own issues about Mina to deal with first. I don't think she's ever been quite as confused or scared of her own feelings. She has been as obsessed with Mina as Mina has been with her for their whole lives. And I think she understood from about the time of the hedge maze incident that there was a sexual component to that obsession. But the hard part is going to be rewriting history to understand that Mina isn't who she thought she was. The mutual nature of their obsession is one thing, but realizing that Mina has always been as dark as she is and not the light reflection is going to shake up her whole universe.

Yeah, ask me the EASY ones. ::SIGH::

Ok. She has always loved him. When she was a child she loved him the way you love someone bigger than life. She thought he hung the stars. He was the most wonderful, most vibrant, most dynamic thing in the universe and she couldn't NOT love him. Especially because he was absent so much of the time so he wasn't around to let the reality of him break that spell. And also because he doted on her like mad. After the hedge maze she loved him differently. He was no longer this perfect ideal, but he was the sexual ideal. He was what sex meant to her. What it was to be a man, ya know? Fast forward to the demon possession and all the things the demon whispered to her and she came to see who he truly was, thus the "weak, foul, lustful, vainglorious man" thing. But she still loves him. She loves him in an adult way. Not the child's love she used to have for him. She loves him because he is all she has left in the world, really, and because she KNOWS him and because you don't stop loving a father when you've come to understand he is also just a man. But it's love, not like. She doesn't LIKE the man he is. But she loves him.

Does any of that make sense?

It makes HEARTBREAKING sense.
