Given that it is now mid-year and that many of us seem to have been having a rough time of it lately, now seems like an excellent time for a kudos meme. Tag in character, as yourself, or even anonymously if you prefer! Just spread the love, y'all. ♥

Tag in each of your characters, then go around and respond to the others with kudos for their characters. Tell them why you love having them in game, what you enjoy about the character, praise a specific plot or thread, whatever love you have to spread. (If you'd rather just do a block comment of kudos, that's okay, too!) Share your favorite moments, tags, threads, plots, etc.

Sally is just a goddamn delight. Her voice is so PERFECT, I can hear her every time you tag as her. She's not totally nice or entirely healthy or very secure at all, and you don't shy from that, but she's also a huge bundle of affect and amazing.

I am legitimately scrabbling for a way she and Grantaire could run back into each other without him already drinking. I stg jeopardizing threads with Sally was one of my major concerns when I decided to take his plot that way because I adore her so deeply. (Just because he's not getting drunk doesn't mean he's not deeply irresponsible! XD)

I know little of this game but I love Krem so much. You breathe him to life in such a deep, measured way. I love how he's developed and grown throughout his time in Darrow, and I love reading his threads. Reading Krem's threads, I can feel his emotions eminating from your words. I love that he gets tattoos for all of the special people in his life; that's such a lovely and wonderful aspect of his character, and it says so much about him. You put so much love into Krem and it shows. I love his friendship with Marius so much! We absolutely should thread them together soon!

Your Mindy is spot on. I love how you play her; so full of life and kicking ass as both a professional, working woman and a mother. I think you truly capture her voice and spirit in your tags, and it has been such a thrill getting to thread Harry with her. Their CR so far is some of my favorite in the game and I always need/want more of it.

Henry Cheng is one of my absolute favorite characters in The Raven Cycle and you write him so perfectly. You truly capture his voice with your tags, from that amazing debut to all of his threads in game. I love that his personality shines through so brightly. His meeting with Harry still continues to delight me and I greatly look forward to threading them together more. :D

The way you write Sean is so lovely and lyrical. I love threading him with Marius and learning more about him as a person and the world he comes from. His voice is so very distinct and you capture his relationship with his horse so well.

Oh man, your Sirius is so amazing and perfect. It's an honor to play off your Sirius; you get his voice so, so right. I love watching/reading how he develops in Darrow and I love that Harry gets to know a younger version of his godfather. You don't shy away from Sirius' many complexities, and it makes reading his threads all the richer for that.

I love Cameron so much. He's such a genuine guy and a great friend. You truly capture his voice, which makes him a joy to thread with and to thread stalk. I love that he and Jenny are married; they are so cute! I love that he and Marius are friends; their friendship means the world to me and I love getting to thread off of you. Cameron and you are both such sweethearts and I adore you both.

I love Newt and I love you. Newt is one of my favorite parts about Pacific Rim and the way you capture his personality is the reason why. You capture all of him so wonderfully; from his love of kaiju and science to the way he is always so full of energy and life. You make him a joy to watch as he develops in Darrow. I love his relationship with Kate and how perfectly adorable they are together. I love what interactions he's had with Marius and would love to thread them together again soon!

Also, it has been an honor and a privilege to roleplay with you over this past...half decade, I believe (can you believe it???) and I love thread stalking and threading with you always. <3333.

Your Biffy is such a delight! I love that you capture so much humor in his voice and his observations. I still need to read this series, but I love your Biffy so, so much, and I adore his relationship with Dorian! You play such a unique bunch of pups and I love that each voice is so distinct. I love threading with you and I need to throw someone else at Biffy now that I no longer have Feely and Tessa.

I love Tris so much and you just totally get her as a character. Your tags always highlight the complexities of her personality; I feel like I'm still reading the novels or watching the movies when I read your Tris tags. It's been such an honor getting to tag her with Marius; they have very different personalities and God knows Marius would never be in Dauntless lol but I love their friendship and how well they get along. I know me and Marius both appreciate you and Tris for being there during his difficult times.

I love roleplaying with you and all of yours; Tris is one of my favorites. Your writing continously makes me up my writing game and I'm so grateful for it. I love writing with and getting to know you, always. <3.

Hild was one of the very first people that tagged Thomas when I joined the game and it was one of those threads that I've always remembered because Hild's so so incredibly different than any character I've seen before.

I am amazed at how you handle her unique voice and how she can be hilarious one minute and then deadly and dangerous the next. Thomas sometimes doesn't even know what to make of her except that he really does not want to be on her bad side.

Your Peggy Carter is so wonderful. You really capture her essence with your writing, and it is delightful being able to thread Lois Lane with her. I love their relationship so far and I really look forward to seeing where you take Peggy and how you develop her in Darrow.

I remember when I was thinking of joining Darrow that I read a few of Clarke and Bellamy's threads and just fell in love with them and their relationship. It made me seek out their threads separately too, which was a damn good choice.

She's beautifully written plain and simple. She's tough and strong while still maintaining that fierce streak of sympathy and compassion. Just lovely.

The internet somewhat ruined Grantaire for me for a while but you have made me utterly adore him again. You truly capture the spirit of him, with all of his vices, complexities, and fondness for blonde revolutionaries. And you also really let the bright spots in Grantaire's life shine through, too. I have so loved getting to develop Marius' friendship with Grantaire with you; it's been such a delight and a wonderful time in doing so. I feel like my characterization of Marius has strengthened because of how well you write Grantaire.

Philip is such a fascinating character because he is so awful a human being. You play him so wonderfully! I feel like it must be difficult to play someone who is as much of a creeper/lacks so many morals as Philip is and does, and you make it look effortless. I loved threading Tessa with him while I had her and I would love to throw Lois at him at some point.

Kate, how much do I love thee? Let me count the ways! No but seriously Kate is absolutely perfect and worth writing a hundred sonnets for. You play her so well and let all aspects of her personality shine bright. She's such a vibrant character and I love getting to see her develop in Darrow. She is one of my favorite things about Darrow as a whole, and that is certainly thanks to you. Her friendship with Marius is one of the best things that's happened and I love how far they've come from when Kate intially scandalized the bejesus out of Marius. XD

Getting to write and play with you has been such a joy for me, and I am so grateful I get to do so.
