I don't think they prepared me for this on the farm. Maybe they should have.

It's so strange, not having you share those memories or be able to feel them just by looking. It took a while to get used to it, and now I feel alien without it.

You don't have to look. We're connected through the Force. We know every thought and feeling the other has.

Face to face, we met on a planet called Mykyr. The first time I saw you, though, was when you came to rescue Solo from Jabba's palace. I don't think you saw me or knew I was there.

I'Ve never been connected to anyone like that. Not even Leia. I don't know that you'd want that. To be connected to someone you don't even know. Who doesn't remember you.

Unless your life has been drastically different, I could argue that I already do know you as well as you know yourself, but that connection isn't here now. Not in this place.

In a sense, yes. I was the Emperor's Hand and he wanted you eliminated. If Jabba had allowed me on the sail barge, I might have succeeded. When we talked about it, you seemed sure that I would have.

From how it seems, things only began to change after the destruction of the second Death Star. How long was it after that, that we met?

Most would call that chance. I think it was the Force.
