With the holiday season among us, it's time for a chance to spread the love, gush about all of our wonderful pups and players, and just be generally cool to one another. So, as promised, it's Kudos Meme time!

Tag in each of your characters, then go around and respond to the others with kudos for their characters. Tell them why you love having them in game, what you enjoy about the character, praise a specific plot or thread, whatever love you have to spread. (If you'd rather just do a block comment of kudos, that's okay, too!) Share your favorite moments, tags, threads, plots, etc.

I've really loved threading with Rae so far. I don't know a thing about her canon, but I've enjoyed her making Luke uncomfortable and also the way in which she seems to be trying to balance between being normal and someone supernatural. Your tags make me want to know her canon and I know you've mentioned struggling with her, but I think she's wonderful. The way you manage to keep her being someone who's both just a baker, but also borderline suspicious of the supernatural activity has been a lot of fun to read.

Magnus is a darling. I might be speaking from a super biased standpoint but I do not care. He's so good. I have to stop myself from asking you for thread after thread after thread because I want to see how the relationship between Alec and Magnus plays out because canon didn't do them near enough justice.

I get excited when I Magnus threads (even ones that I'm not a part of) and I want to never stop playing with him ever. He makes me happy.

Admittedly, I had never once heard of Hild before seeing her pop up in game and I've yet to read her canon. But god, I do adore her. I love how you've played her learning and adapting to modern English and how she's growing here by herself and in relation to others. I'm so fascinated by her and selfishly can't wait to learn more of her story if just through Bitty and Ronan.

I can never ever say enough about your Blue. I know I've been flailing at you since we started it, but that Ronan/Blue thread is easily one of my favorite threads I've ever ever been a part of. She is absolute PERFECTION and your writing is astounding. I constantly feel pushed to a higher level whenever I'm tagging with you regardless of the pups in question. I am so so looking forward to Blue and Ronan's growing friendship in game because that is absolutely one of my favorite relationships in the books and I know every step of their journey to that point is going to be so satisfying. I'm looking forward to Bitty and Blue's too! She really does remind him a whole lot of Lardo. <333

Grantaire/you are the sole reason I ever started reading E/R fic and why I fell head over heels for the utter delight that is George Blagden. I have absolutely no regrets. His and Ronan's relationship is still one of my favorite things and something I never ever expected. (Everytime he calls Ronan 'Erebus' I grin SO HARD. I have no idea why I love that nickname so much, but it just feels PERFECT and makes me SO HAPPY.) I wish I had a million pups I could throw at him; he's such an amazing, interesting, compelling character and almost the entire reason I've even briefly considered conquering the tome that is Les Miserables. Heh.

And putting some game love in here. <3 I joined a couple of months ago and people were wonderful and super welcoming, and I'm having so much fun here. I love the close-knit atmosphere. I love that it's easy to play out a variety of things and interact with different characters.

Oh, my God. So HOPEFULLY, BY NOW you know how I feel about Al, but let me explain, in detail, where everyone can see it. I LOVE Al. You know I do. I love the way you write him, I love the thought that you put into all of your tags, I love the strong sense of voice I get from him. Al was a character that I really loved when I read Divergent, and it was such a joy to see him IG and so fully realised. I am nursing a crush on Christian Madsen now that's all your fault. I feel so blessed that I get to play out two such different relationships with him, between Newt and Beca. He's one of my very favourite pups IG and I hope I get to thread with him forever.

ALSO, you, yourself, are a joy to thread with, to talk to, and I am so, so glad that we're getting to know each other because of the game :D

I know that sometimes Ronan gives you fits but it doesn't reflect in your tagging at all. Ronan is such a complicated, chaotic mess of a character and he's full of dark spots and sharp edges and you make sure to write all of that into him. You don't shy away from his less fluffy qualities but you don't make him so dark that he reads irredeemable.

He's so good.

For a while, I was completely at a loss for what to do with Carl. I thought I might have to drop him, or play him through losing his sister, or generally let him float around aimlessly, but you letting me use poor Ellie as Carl's safehouse pretty much saved me from that. And the only reason I would've wanted to do any of that was because your Ellie is so amazing. I've actually never played the game, even though that shit is right up my alley, because I am sad and Playstationless, but I feel like I have, in a way. It feels like I'm playing off a character plucked fully formed from a really amazing, engaging canon, and I've gotten the opportunity to watch her grow.

IT'S NEAT. WE SHOULD THREAD THEM MORE. Carl trusts few people in Darrow, but he'd really trust Ellie with his life. So, that's a thing.
