Okay so let's talk about how you all need to play The Walking Dead. It is literally on every gaming console even the computer, NO EXCUSES. That said. I feel like you all are guessing who I want - for those who have played - but I am listing someone else as my number one person because she is less obvious.



FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, SOMEONE GIVE ME MOLLY. A character from later in the game, she quickly became one of my top five favorites in the first 'season' of this game for so many reasons. She's snarky, she's a badass, she uses a fucking ice pick to climb buildings and shit.

AND I WANT CLEM TO MEET HER. She's from after I brought her but she's great and tbh if I did not play Clem I would be playing her. SUPER GREAT.

But yeah yeah we all know the other request:

JUST LOOK AT PEGGY CARTER THOUGH. She is such a hero. I love, love, love that when choosing a love interest for Cap in the film, they chose to make Peggy such an equal not only in terms of her having more to do than be The Girlfriend, but also as a character with a similar history. Steve's story was about being the little guy who had ever door closed in his face, and Peggy was a woman with aspirations during a time when women were not supposed to have aspirations. Not the sort that she had, anyway. But she did what she wanted to and she was so good at it, no one could tell her no. She's fabulous and inspiring and I shouldn't even have to sell anyone on playing her, because I'm bad at this and because in the end, Peggy's greatness speaks for itself.

I don't want to say much here because it would basically all have to be spoilers, but oh my god, someone, please bring him. He's such an interesting character, he's RYAN GOSLING WITH A MOTORCYCLE AND TATTOOS, and it would be so fascinating to see how he'd adapt (or not really adapt) in a setting like this, what he might wind up doing. There is really not much I wouldn't do to get someone to bring him, ugh, god, I want.

Again with the not wanting to say much because of spoilers, but dear God, this man. Ryan Gosling might have top billing, but as far as I'm concerned, The Place Beyond the Pines is pretty much Bradley Cooper's movie. He's wonderful, playing such a great, complex character, and I actually feel like this would be an excellent environment for him, too, with a lot of potential. Someone bring himmmmmmm.

I'm picky, I want comic book Rick because TV show Andrea is the worst and I want Rick to know my Andrea. >.> But seriously. Rick Grimes is amazing. He's been through so much fucked up shit and he tries so hard to be a good dad and sometimes he fails on a spectacular level, but he's not a bad guy. He tries to be really, really hard in a bad world, and sometimes he's good at it. Sometimes he's so good at being hard that it's actually kind of scary, but he does it all out of this intense need to protect the people he loves. He would do absolutely anything for them.

Jane Margolis - Breaking Bad

Let me talk to you about Jane Margolis.



Jane is such a fascinating character. Her arc on Breaking Bad is one of my favorite parts of the entire show, and I feel like her relationship with Jesse has the potential for so much more plot than we got on the show. And Jane herself could see so much growth as a character given an environment like Darrow and given a Jesse and a Walt from several seasons in the future.

Mostly I just love Jane, am fascinated by her and would LOVE to have one to play off of, so you should app her. DO IT.

Ryan Atwood - The O.C.

Seth misses a lot of things about Newport, but oh my god does he miss Ryan Atwood. He's such a wonderfully written and fleshed out character, and I feel like Darrow would work really well for him. Especially a season 4 Ryan who could probably use a change of scenery.

Also, Seth needs someone to talk to about all of his problems at length over bagels and schmear and is getting the feeling that Forrest Bondurant isn't going to be very good at the job.

And also, there are plenty of people in Darrow to punch, because Seth knows how much he likes to punch things. And brood.

And speaking of unfinished business and Comrade Sergievsky, it would be amazing and awesome to have an Anatoly here. There are all kind of opportunities for him to learn and grow as a character on his own asides from the background and plotty bits with Molokov.

And just think! He can get the opportunity to play with Darrow grandmasters and not get the board thrown in his face. Maybe.

How many women would drive themselves crazy over a game of chess?

Oh, Florence. I love her so and if anyone in this chess deserves a second chance for a happy ending, it's her. She is a strong, amazing woman who got the bad luck of being saddled with two ridiculous grandmasters and she deserves to go out and take over the world.

Svetlana is the other person who deserves a second chance and a place where she can be free to be her own person without being held back by scheming KGB agents or unfaithful husbands. She has her own story and she should get to tell it.

Not only is she an amazingly powerful witch, she's a delightfully geeky woman who's lived through and seen so much. She's dated a werewolf and a witch, and she's had one leave and the other die. She's stood by Buffy through everything and she's battled her own demons too.

I will admit to wanting almost anyone from Downton in the city, but I am going to focus on the Crawley women today:


Violet the Dowager Countess - Her adjustment to the city and the lack of class structure, of having to do things on her own? These alone would be fascinating. But she's strong, she's smart, she has a dry as a desert sense of humour. She's feeling but from a generation where that was not done. She is amazing.

Cora, Countess of Downton - The American heiress who married a British Lord. It started as a marriage for her fortune, but turned into love. She's had to fight her mother in law the entire way, and she's had to find a place of her own.

Mary - the eldest daughter. A place of privilege, she should by all rights be the heir if only that were not done. She's always known she'll need to marry well, likely to save the estate.

Edith - the middle sister. The ignored sister. Not as pretty, not as important. She's actually an amazing character and my favourite of the women next to Sybil. I think here she could really get a chance to grow.

Johns is a morphine addict and a merc without a heart of gold. He's a really fantastic, complicated character and would have TONS of tension (both sexual and non) with Riddick and Carolyn.

YES, FAITH LEHANE IS A SELF-PROCLAIMED HOT CHICK WITH SUPER POWERS, BUT SHE IS ALSO SO MUCH MORE THAN THAT. Slut? Proudly. Bitch? If provoked. Murderess? Okay, yeah, but she's working on it. Hero? YOU CAN MOTHERFUCKING BET YOUR ASS SHE IS A TOTAL GODDAMN HERO. This here is one of the most incredibly written and complex characters from within a canon chock full of incredibly written and complex characters. Hers is a tragic and beautiful arc, and one of the most fantastic redemption stories I've ever had the pleasure of watching unfold. She would bring so much to the game and selfishly, I absolutely adore the love-hate relationship that she and Buffy share. I'd give just about anything to be able to explore it in an RP setting. So please, please, please consider apping Faith! I promise to shower you with love and threads and gifts in the form of icons and other pretty things.
