Uh, therapy. Actual, legitimate therapy. Lord knows she needs it. She's came from a point in her canon where she was having a trademark Rebecca Bunch breakdown and didn't get the encouragement from Paula or Heather or Valencia that she probably desperately needed and DID get in canon, so she's still stupidly hung up on Josh. She needs to get over that.

The fact she is not stuck in space and doomed to die alone.* Also Hawkeye and Korra and Lois and Jenny and Marius.

I sold my soul to The Eyes. It's a big driving force in apping her because I feel like I am wasting an awesome username if I don't, tbqh. I just have to sit down and re-watch the show which is A Task for my emotions.

I s2g I'm giving Eden an EP this month and they HAVE to meet, because I feel like Eden would be a real good influence for her even beyond theater? Like, she'd be reassuring without totally validating all the negative coping mechanisms, and she totally endorses therapy for everyone, because it's been so helpful for her.

GOOD QUESTION. I think she definitely still has traditional beliefs that run unfortunately deep but she'd never want shit to turn out as bad as Gilead since she didn't really MEAN for things to get that extreme.

She might try her hand at writing BS again and side-eye women's dress and pray a lot but she's probably not going to try turn Darrow into a patriarchal, dystopian wasteland.

What are Aurora's Darrow Guilty Pleasures (ie Space Hospital, etc.)? What does she do when she just needs to relax and have a moment to herself?

What are some of Rebecca's hobbies? Besides theater, what else is she passionate about?

She runs or she swims. They're not really guilty pleasures and she doesn't watch a hell of a lot of TV, Space Hospital would probably be too terribly ironic for her to enjoy.

That is a good question. She doesn't really have any active hobbies that I can think of. Like, at all. She enjoys eating copious amounts of snacks and crying in front of the TV but I don't think that counts. She should probably get a hobby but she rejects a lot of fun things e.g. thinks all sport is garbage.

How would Radar feel about modern tech in Darrow? Does he miss simpler days or is he excited?

OH BOY. He'd be confused and probably really anxious but as long as he didn't have to work with it too much I think he'd be okay. He was probably one of the most tech-savvy at M*A*S*H just because he worked the phones but that'd be nothing compared to Darrow. So a mix of both? He'd definitely enjoy some aspects.

What's the hardest part about adjusting Aurora to Darrow?

I am responding to this very late because, um, I forgot?

Anyway, getting back into first person for Aurora has been challenging but not necessarily hard because it comes quite fluidly, although sometimes I write a whole tag in third and then have to re-write it. SO NOT THAT but I guess finding a balance with how much she dwells on what happened to her/the person that did it to her (I don't know if you've seen the film). I always feel like I write about it too much but I can't imagine her NOT thinking about it. I don't know if that makes any sense. YOU WAITED TOO LONG FOR THIS TRASH.

Serena Pemberton... I would love for her to share her story with someone. I would love for her to realise the errors of her ways regarding how she dealt with Rachel Harmon. I would love for her to experience genuine joy and a sense that she deserves it, because even when she finds herself happy with her son she feels like she's unworthy because of her aforementioned tragic backstory.

Serena Joy, god, I just want her to resolve her inner conflict about Oh Hey Dystopia That I Accidentally Sort of Maybe Created and I would, ideally, love to give her a child but it's something I would never rush into because it's not going to solve all of her problems. Just ask Serena Pemberton. There are eerie similarities between her and my current Serena with that regard. I don't know if I could balance both.
