Ah, well. It certainly isn’t perfect. I have come to understand that an uninterested citizenry do as much to halt democracy as an oppressive king. And they are even more annoying. *wry grin* But when I see what people are able to accomplish, what they’re saying, how they can make themselves heard - alors, how could I want anything else?

I never expected democracy to be perfect. Just better. And it is.
