MEME: Reverse Questions

Muns: Post here listing all of the characters you play (you might want to list journals, too, just for reference) or are thinking of playing.

Everyone: Ask the MUNS anything about the GAME or THEIR PUPS, because we all know the muns will answer when the characters won't. They can be specific questions ("How does he feel about her?") or general questions ("Why did you choose this pup?", "How do you channel them?", etc.) You can even have pups ask the questions, but ANSWERS are coming from the MUNS.

Do you ever plan to canon update Eowyn? Also, if she could change one thing about her life right now (other than getting out of Darrow), what would it be and why?

I wouldn't say I'm planning it, but I've considered it. I think I'd probably pull her from the Houses of Healing, which would be very mean of me in some ways, but in others would allow her to know that she had fought for her people and had defended her land. And killed the freaking Witch King of Angmar, obviously. :)

I think if she could change one thing, she'd have more of a purpose. She still feels like she's not doing enough, although she works hard at the stables and tries to be the best friend that she can.

What do you find most challenging to play for each of your characters? Whether in a good way or a difficult way.

Oooh, that is a fabulous question.

For Eowyn, it's voice. Tolkien's voice is very specific and the army of angry fans that would descend upon me if I screwed it up is large.

For Nikita, it's conveying her eternal calculation. There's always something else going on behind whatever face she's choosing to show the world.

For Sam, it's making him not a caricature. Since we only see him from Sookie's point of view in his canon, he could easily become flat and "Well, gawsh dangit, howdy do".

What does Sam make of the whole supernatural aspect of Darrow? Do you think he's adjusting better here than he was in Bon Temps?

He's resigned, in some ways. Supes here, supes there, supes everywhere. He does like that the Weres here aren't quite so stuck up about being Weres as the ones in his world.

I think he's adjusting alright, but he is a little lonely, just like he was in his canon. I mean, he doesn't have a healthy, consistent relationship with anyone in his canon for most of the series, so at least he's IC!
