Daniel, that was weeks ago. Well, almost weeks when I first arrived, but I promise the pain is a dull annoyance. I hardly notice it at all. And possibly haven't had a checkup since arriving

Don't be ridiculous, it's only a dull annoyance. Thompson is, on his good days, an irritable pain a grade above that.

I promise, I'm fine. I only popped the stitches the twice.

If we're counting, the first was Dottie Underwood's fault.

Unfortunately, in this case, it was our decision to bring her back. We needed her to help us get a blood sample from Whitney.

As you can imagine, letting her loose didn't end well.

Yes, I'm all patched up. Violet did an excellent job patching me up and Jarvis saw to it that I remained well.

You're getting very close to where I am, Daniel. In no time at all, you're going to know everything I've been keeping mum on.

It makes me glad I'm going to be staying so near to them.
