Given that it is now mid-year and that many of us seem to have been having a rough time of it lately, now seems like an excellent time for a kudos meme. Tag in character, as yourself, or even anonymously if you prefer! Just spread the love, y'all. ♥

Tag in each of your characters, then go around and respond to the others with kudos for their characters. Tell them why you love having them in game, what you enjoy about the character, praise a specific plot or thread, whatever love you have to spread. (If you'd rather just do a block comment of kudos, that's okay, too!) Share your favorite moments, tags, threads, plots, etc.

Harley Altmeyer

I could write essays about Harley Altmeyer and how wonderfully you play him. I feel like I tell you too often and yet not often enough at all. I'm so glad to be threading with him again, in some small way. His relationship with Abby will always be in my heart.

I can't pass Harley by without leaving my love for him always. I'm so happy to see that he's still in game, I'm so happy to be able to open any thread of his and immediately feel his energy. Sometimes I feel like Harley is that much more vivid to me because of the wonderful, wonderful threads I've gotten to share with him — I feel like I can picture his movements, hear his voice, and every time I open up one of your threads, that just returns in full. He's so distinct and your writing for him is so artful, I feel like you could easily pick up pen and paper and write more of his story, and it'd be every bit as beautiful as the original canon.

Ugh, my heart, Harley tugs it always.

I am too lazy to answer this with the most appropriate pup's journal, but: man, though I have not read his canon nor do I have a clue about it, I love Harley. I hope we get a chance to thread again soon, because this awkward, internal, traumatized artist boy you've got here has definitely captured some piece of my heart and wandered off with it.

I really salute you, too, for playing a broody character. It's hard to commit to someone who's not sure of himself with people in an RPG, but he's super interesting and has a very strong narrative voice and it feels worthwhile to draw him out of his shell.
