I admittedly know nothing about TRC aside from what I've parsed together from reading the characters in game, but Kav is such a character to read, omg. This smug little bastard is as magnetic as he can be abrasive and following his relationship dynamics and how varied they are is addictive. His a very specific and unique voice, and he certainly sets himself apart with how him he is. Just... keep doing you, boo.

I know Ronan and I give him a lot of grief for being THE WORST, but I genuinely love that you had the guts to bring him in at all and do what you have with him. He's never going to be Ronan's favorite person, but I LOVE that you're taking him from a canon where he's basically only meant as a foil and fleshing him out to be a full-fleshed growing person. You're not afraid to keep him vulgar and abrasive while exploring how fundamentally broken he is and I love that. I'm eager to see how he grows further and where you take him.

Cheng: I could not imagine playing Henry. Maybe it's because Gansey pinged me early, early on, but if I had to fill out that app, it would have been 600 characters apiece of "ummmmm." And your Cheng is so certain, so multi-dimensional, and so fucking cute that I want to die. Thank you for giving me a foil that is so much fun to play off of, for giving me test threads to help shape Gansey, and for that white people icon. I can't wait to see where this goes.

Kavinsky: I get worried about you when I think about how fucking good you are at this shitty little fuckboy. It would have been so, so easy to make this character very shallow. Your Kavinsky has a reason for his shittiness that is something so much deeper than teenage angst. More than that, you explore the harder parts of his conflict. I feel like playing off of Kavinsky keeps me honest about how Peter's feeling. Losing Jason has been messy and there have been times I've wanted to just tie it up in a neat little bow. But all of the favorite interactions have been post-tragedy. I love that these two opposite people have found so much common ground and I can't seem to get tired of them.
(Also some awesome AU sex)
You: Thank you for writing interesting tags, for always saying yes and adding information and being flexible and for giving a shit. It's so much more fun when the person you're threading with gets into your canon, as well. OBVIOUSLY YOU KNOW THIS, seeing as I ended up apping from Kavinsky's. Also, whether you know it or not, your being around to shoot the shit with has had no small part in getting me through the actual fuckiest part of my life. There isn't another Tony. So, I'm really glad I've got this one.

I really do have this soft spot for Kav, I love his voice and how you write him and how he interacts with other characters. Occasionally I want to fight the other Raven Boys BECAUSE THEY ARE SO MEAN TO HIM. And I know they have totally valid reasons for that.

And with him being relatively content these days, it would be easy to GO precious wooby, but you never do. He's a complex, abrasive, defensive dreamer, with a lot of vulnerability and a lot of reasons for who he is. There are some things that he can't really defend, and some beautiful things about him that his haters would be pressed to even explain.
I love that you've taken a side character and fleshed him out and given him a life. He's always amazing to watch. And I'm glad you get that the shit Blue especially gives him is not really shit we're giving you. <33
