I remember that voice! I don't even have to turn around to know who it is, but when I see him, I smile and run at him to give him a big, big hug. One of my biggest.

PARTY POISON! I knew I was back in Darrow. It's not the same street as last time, but it feels like Darrow, definitely. And I'm okay. But Grandma still isn't here with me.

I giggle. Back in Room, I used to think that Ma was pretty big, but Grandma is much older than that.

Yeah. Grandma takes naps and stuff even more than I did when I was a baby, it's really weird. Maybe next time I'll try holding her hand tight, so that the magic knows to bring her to Darrow, too. I think she would like it here.

I mean, she isn't mine... but I raised her. I rescued her when she was a tiny baby.

You rescued her? What did you rescue her from? Was it... someone scary?

Yeah, some really bad people. She's okay now, though. I think she'd like you, too. You're a pretty cool kid that knows awesome ice cream flavors.
