I'm sorry. I have a hard time getting used to it.

[Corr huffs and pulls back his head a little, and Sean whispers to him]

It's alright. I'm just not used to attention out of season.

First I've heard of that. Only ever had my own face.

As I understand, this place is very peculiar about things like that. I'm sorry, I shouldn't have stared.

[Corr leans his big head down to look at her and Sean watches him very carefully.]

Not as such. The capaill cannot be trusted. And this place -- this isn't his ocean.

Is he free?

He's...not contained.

[And isn't that just as dangerous. Corr makes a low whine at the girl and then looks at Sean with a big eye, before arching his neck back to look at the ocean instead.]

[She reaches her hand out to Corr, though he seems distracted by the sea now. She looks toward it too]

He is not meant to be. Why do you have him?

He is. The capaill are a natural thing. I've had him for years.

[Corr's ears dart and he looks down from the sea, pressing his head into Sean's chest. Sean whispers to him a moment.]

What is this place?

Then he is not the same creature I know. Or some different shadow of the same thing.

[This place seems to have a lot of that. She drops her hand.]

[Corr's ears go back and he whines, not quite a call to the sea, but definitely un-horselike]

[Stares, ears pricked out of curiosity, tail swishing a bit]

[Sean takes out the iron from his pocket and presses it up against Corr's withers, torn between watching his beast and his capaill's worried reaction to it.]

Toothless! Hey, you can't just wander off like tha–

Wow that is a huge horse.

[Corr makes a noise, not quite horse-like, but seems to understand the word. Sean is, at least, used to people admiring Corr, and has gotten more used to George Holly's strange behavior in past weeks.]

I don't recommend coming closer than you need to. He can be admired from a distance.

What's the issue? Does he bite?

[ dorian is used to being a subject of scrutiny, but that doesn't mean he doesn't like to play with it.]

Bite--that would certainly be the nicest end to things, if he took issue.

The ocean's different here. I don't know how he'll react.
