Who trained you? Not that I'll probably know who that is.

Palpatine began my Force training, but my husband Luke trained me as a Jedi.

No, he wasn't. He trained me on how to use the Force to act on his behalf and to hear his commands across the galaxy. Luke trained me as a Jedi.

So more like Sith? Because... that would actually make a lot of sense. Those guys are just... [SHUDDERS]

Yes, more like that. Not that I knew it at the time. Took years to shed the last of him from my mind.

Yeah. And I thought the Grand Inquisitor was bad. I've never felt anything so... cold. And angry.

Then you know the feelings to avoid in yourself.

Yeah, well, I kinda already made that mistake once, I won't be making it again.

I didn't... listen. I didn't completely jump to the dark side or anything. I just got angry and cheated. A little. I haven't done anything like that since.

Kanan would never let me hear the end of it.

We were all young once. When I first met my husband I was haunted by a command to kill him. I didn't, of course, but it took years and discipline to work through it.

Your Master sounds like a good one.

He is! He can be a pain but he's a lot better than he thinks he is. He's just worried because he never actually finished his training before his Master was killed.

That sounds uncomfortably familiar to my husband's past.

Really? Did he fight in the Clone Wars, too?

No, we both grew up after. During the resistance.

So you're... part of the Rebellion, then?

[reluctant_jedi]

I wasn't, but my husband was.

Oh. Is he here? If I can't find my crew, I should probably check in with... someone, I guess.

He is, but it's complicated.

Just for once, I'd like to go into a situation and everyone is like, "Here's everything you need, there's where you need to go, coast is clear, no complications."

So what's this complication?

Wouldn't that be nice? Boring, but nice.

He's here, but he doesn't know me and he's about twenty years younger than the man I married.

As I understand it, people come here from different times, even different timelines. Luke and I are definitely from different times, and possibly from different timelines.
