To be honest, I can't say I entirely blame you. I've always been a prat, why wouldn't you doubt all the evidence. Particularly given my dear family.

Why can't you stay? This place is dull as anything, Moony, but it's a good deal better than prison, probably better than anything Dumbledore still has you out doing. Stay, will you?

I don’t think I get a choice. But I don’t have anything back there. I live in a tumbledown cottage in Muggle Yorkshire and do odd jobs until I get sacked for missing too much work during the full moons. I don’t have you, I don’t have James and Lily, I don’t even have Harry. I want to stay here, with you, and James. And Harry, grown up Harry. I don’t want to go back to being alone.
