[meme] Test Drive

Tag into this post with characters you're thinking of apping to the game (characters who are not currently in-game or currently reserved by someone else). It can be just a tag, a brief EP, a blurb about the character, a line of dialogue, or whatever you want. You can be new to the game, or simply want to test out a fresh pup. Tag each other with these characters or those already in game, and have fun.

Also, please include the name of their canon somewhere in or on the comment or on their profile page.

Lila pulls the mask off her head completely, her hair fluttering a moment in its wake. Her smirk disappears and her hand falls to her side at Kell's reply. She looks him over, as though something about the sight of him will explain what he's saying.

"What do you mean?" she asks slowly. She takes in the pinched quality of his frown, how his eyes look away from hers. "What does it matter if you can't go to Grey or White London?"

"Because I'm Antari," Kell snaps, fear making his voice sharp. "No power should exist that prevents me moving as I please. But I can't get to Red, either."

Kell hardly seems to move, but he's smaller now, shoulders rounding beneath his brown coat. "This is a new land, and we can't leave it."

Grey and White London were dismal places, as far as Lila was concerned. Grey, with its lack of magic, and White with it's starvation for it, its corruption. But still she could understand Kell's anger; she didn't like to be trapped, either. For him, his exploration wasn't limited to one entire world. She would have been loath to give that up as well.

Her eyes narrow, and she steps forward. "A new London? We aren't in Red anymore?" It wasn't worth asking, she knew he must be sure, he would know more than anyone. She swore, looking around. Their surroundings were nondescript. They could be anywhere. "My ship."
