Secret Santa Day Two
Welcome to the second day of Secret Santa. YAAAAY. Go forth and make each other feel merry and also bright.
Each day from now through Christmas, you'll find a post like this one waiting. Leave anonymous comments with your gift for your Secret Santee (make sure to put his or her name in the subject line so they can find it!). Remember, it's okay if you don't have something every day. We do, however, encourage you to leave a little note to let them know they haven't been forgotten. Christmas Day will be a free-for-all, where you can leave presents for anyone at all and, if you so desire, reveal your identity.
Let the gift-giving begin.
NOTES: Passwords for various uploading sites, galleries, the game anon account, etc., are available here. For those of you who'd like to play around with some Photoshop but don't have access, Pixlr is a fantastic online alternative that comes close. And remember, if you're posting pictures, they won't show up in an anonymous comment, so for those kinds of comments, it's better to use the

Faye
For day two, Santa brings Dylan wrapped in lights and some kudos, just for being you:
Faye, Santa hasn't had as much of an opportunity to thread with you as Santa would like, but in the time that Santa has gotten to know you, Santa can tell that you are the best kind of person. You are so compassionate, so caring and so many people can rely on you being there when they are having a bad time. This is such a special trait and one of the things that Santa loves about you so much. Thank you for always being there to support Darrow's players, both regarding RP and the often very obnoxious thing called real life. You're the best.
Re: Faye
Santa, YOU'RE the best <33 *blush*

Re: Sarah V
Thank you Santa!
Sarah (lessthanpie)
Happy Holidays!
Re: Sarah (lessthanpie)
As is probably obvious, coding is not a thing I enjoy doing so I definitely appreciate it!
Kaitlyn
So Merry Catmas!

BUT SERIOUSLY, this is amazing. Thank you, Santa!
Re: Kaitlyn
Ashley
Have a very merry Christmas,
ClariceWill Graham.IMPORTANT NOTE: Some of the pictures/videos linked below contain gore and may not be completely safe for work. Please take heed!
Santa knows how much you like creepy shit so Santa decided to go hunting for creepy Christmas-themed crap. And what's creepier than Elf on a Shelf, right? So here, have some creepy elves sitting on various surfaces and being both creepy and hilarious: 1 / 2 / 3 / 4 / 5 / 6 / 7
Of course, Elf on the Shelf isn't the only creepy thing to be found out there. I mean, what's Christmas without some truly horrific Christmas dolls? And then there's cute/cool creepy like these super adorable little ornaments. But Santa's personal favorites are the incredibly creepy pictures of himself unsuspecting children. Though people also do some pretty amazing things with make-up for this time of year.
And then there's just the completely random and hilarious crap, like this. And this. AND THIS.
Also, how could Santa see this and not immediately think of you, dear Ashley?
P.S. Santa never received a confirmation email regarding Mr. Kinney's paid time. Did that go through?
no subject
And YES, I apparently did get Mr. Kinney's paid time, but oddly enough, I didn't get an email to tell me, either. WHAT'S GOING ON, DW?
Thank you, Santa!!!!

Lina
(Anonymous) 2015-12-21 07:56 pm (UTC)(link)You may not realise this yet, Lina, but you and Santa go way, way back. Your grasp of the characters that you play and your ability to convey voice in every tag has always left Santa a little bit in awe. You have always been fantastically fun to play with and Santa really values a lot of the threads that you have shared. On a personal level, your sense of humour and ability to cope with what life throws at your have always impressed. Santa is sure you are going to be a superb mother (congratulations, once again!).
Basically, I'm really glad that you're around! ♥

Julia
Your secret santa has not forgotten you!
A small offering of FIli icons today (found, not made by me) here, with the promise that Santa has much more in store for tomorrow!
Re: Julia
Joy
meaner than my demons: Dearest Joy, today Santa brings a collection of songs for Ronan. Some of them remind me of him from what I know of his backstory and who he is. Others just sound right to me. Hopefully there will be at least a few here that really suit him and that you like!
Re: Joy
Also, I'm replying with Bitty because Ronan doesn't have any icons that come CLOSE to showing my utter glee. <333

Kat
Disclaimer: I own nothing to do with Magnus, Alec, or the Mortal Instruments series. This is for recreational purposes only.
Central Park at dusk comes alive, even when the skies are covered in clouds. The grass glistens as dark as raw emerald beneath the fading light; the bark of the trees encasing them almost seem to glow as the sun sets. For a moment, Magnus thinks they might have stumbled into the faerie realm by mistake.
But no. They’re only in a secluded section of Central Park, Magnus dressed to the nines in a pair of chinos and an elegant jacket he’d last worn in the roaring twenties – with the shirt to match. Alec, for once out of Shadowhunter gear, looks so radiant Magnus actually feels his breath catch in his throat. Alec is dressed in the cobalt blazer Magnus bought for him and dark gray trousers to match; they both enhance the depths of his blue eyes much to Magnus’ delight. He looks magnificent, if Magnus says so, which he does, because he’s the one who assembled the outfit in the first place. His own eyes, golden and slit like cat eyes, glimmer in the shadows as he drinks Alec in.
The night is young and beautiful. So are they.
“Did you bring me to the park just to stare at me?” Alec breaks the silence with a smartass answer. (Magnus refuses to make the droll and obvious pun with Alec’s name; he does have some standards of dignity, after all.)
“Well, no. Of course not, Alexander,” Magnus replies even as he gives Alec a slow, deliberate once over. “Eventually I want to get you out of those close. Perhaps we’ll scandalize the ducks.”
The blush that blossoms on Alec’s face, exquisite like tulips freshly coated with rain, only makes Magnus grin wider.
“You are ridiculous,” Alec insists, grumbling.
“Hmm,” Magnus replies noncommittally. “That may be so, but I think you being here with me means you approve of said ridiculousness on some level, no?”
Alec rolls his eyes, but not fast enough to hide the fondness evident in his lingering blush and the quirk of his lips from Magnus’ knowing gaze. Alec starts to mumble but Magnus interrupts him quickly with a kiss, lingering and fervent. All the intensity borne from years of waiting and all of the passion of the hopeless romantic Magnus likes to pretend he isn’t.
Alec lets out deep gasp, pressing warm, insistent lips against his own. Magnus sighs against his sinfully full and perfect mouth; Alec lets out a tiny whimper he will ultimately deny moments later after the fact.
Feeling particularly playful, Magnus indulges in a grin against his lover’s mouth before promptly spinning them and dipping Alec, who lets out a startled yelp and glares up at Magnus for his troubles, though his gaze lacks any real heat.
“By the Angel, Magnus,” Alec breathes out, hard. “This is some stunt I’d expect out of those romantic comedy novels Isabelle loves so much.”
“Where do you think I got the idea?” Magnus replies with another smirk. Alec mutters a response with a huff of his chest. Magnus laughs in response.
“And now,” he says, righting them both a moment later. “For the main event.”
He leads Alec further into their secluded section of the park, stopping when they reach a picnic blanket set out with a bottle of sparkling cider, a bowl of freshly picked strawberries appropriated from an old colleague in California, and a bowl of dipping chocolate. Framing the display are petals of a bouquet Magnus ‘borrowed’ from Jace. (He can easily buy another, Magnus reasons. And a better one, at that. Magnus is doing these flowers a favor by using them as petals, really.)
“Wow,” Alec says, glancing around at the clearing. “This is really nice.”
“Okay, but this isn’t even the best part,” Magnus assures him, unable to keep the self-satisfaction from his voice. With a smirk, Magnus snaps his fingers. Suddenly, a whole parade of penguins, complete with bow ties and boater hats, dances before them, as if they’d jumped right through the screen from the world of a Disney movie.
Magnus turns to Alec, pleased as a cat that has just dropped a dead mouse at his owner’s feet for approval.
“…Dancing penguins?” Alec responds, both eyebrows arching as his nose scrunches in confusion.
As slightly put out as Magnus feels in regards to Alec’s reaction, he simply cannot remain too put off for long at the expression on his boyfriend’s face. He’s been seeing Alec long enough now to develop a particular fondness for his seemingly perpetual state of grouchiness. On anyone else, Magnus would find it irksome. But Alec isn’t anyone else; Magnus has grown so tolerant of his grumpiness, he can only find him positively adorable. Especially in this moment.
“Dancing penguins, you know? Like in Mary Poppins?” He prompts. Alec continues staring blankly at Magnus.
“Don’t tell me we haven’t gotten to Mary Poppins in your Disney education yet,” Magnus sighs, running a hand through his hair.
“No, we haven’t,” Alec answers, watching the penguins for a moment before turning back to Magnus with a smirk. “We were in the middle of you enlightening me on what really happened in Peru.”

Perhaps when finds his way back from the abyss, he'll have something more creative for you.
Here are some Fitz icons for you, darling!
They may come in handy later.

(Anonymous) 2015-12-22 05:31 am (UTC)(link)But enough of that. Let us get down to business
to defeat the Huns. It's kind of hard to properly quantify the role that you have played in my life. I'm certain that I could do it if I was forced into it, but even then words would somehow be lacking. You have been this full up, massive, fascinating force and I'm so glad and lucky to count you amongst my friends. You have a way with words and creativity that leaves me in awe. You're amazing, lady, and I don't think you hear that enough. So this is me saying it. Again and again and again.no subject
