[meme] reverse questions

Muns: Post here listing all of the characters you play (you might want to list journals, too, just for reference) or are thinking of playing.

Everyone: Ask the MUNS anything about the GAME or THEIR PUPS, because we all know the muns will answer when the characters won't. They can be specific questions ("How does he feel about her?") or general questions ("Why did you choose this pup?", "How do you channel them?", etc.) You can even have pups ask the questions, but ANSWERS are coming from the MUNS.

What is Elizabeth's favourite thing about Darrow? How is she adjusting to knowing about Booker?

I think, in general, it's just the freedom she has. It's not complete freedom, but it's something inbetween that allows her to live her own life on her own terms and that's a big deal. (And she doesn't really know it, but this is honestly the best case scenario to her. Her canon endings are...bleak)

As for Booker...it's hard. It's hard, but I don't think she so much blames him for what happened to her beyond giving her up (how could he guess the insanity that was to come?) as much as she has to deal with the general idea of total abandonment. There's a lot of abandonment to deal with from literally every person that should've been a parental figure at this point.

She'll never see herself as Anna, I don't think. That's long since passed. That said, she still wants to try to have a relationship with him, if only because she'd come to care about him as a person and you can't just turn that off. So it's a big we'll see, I suppose. A lot depends on their future interactions.

Do you think Riley might ever take Andrea up on the offer to help her out with discovering her place in Darrow? (Also, semi-related, because Andrea is licensed to practice law, if Riley wanted to become emancipated, she could always help with the legal stuff.)

What's one thing you absolutely have to do with Elizabeth eventually? One RP dream goal?

Yes, honestly. Actually, that thread made me realize just how great an idea it was for the first time, as I'd been floundering as to what to make her focus on in a world that doesn't need people who are actively defying the militaristic status quo. I think the emancipated thing would have to go along with Ellie, as she really, really wouldn't abandon her. I need to talk to Scott about that soon about her approaching her, as she's been decently on the straight and narrow lately too. Maybe Andrea can help them both out, haha.

I...actually might be doing it next month with a certain city plot coming up. >_> SECRETIVE PERSON IS SECRETIVE. But in general, I saved her from her canon, and my ultimate goal really is and will always be playing her having a life she couldn't get, and helping her reconcile things the game would never allow the reconciliation for (not really, anyway).

Got any long-term goals or arcs for Jennifer?

What is Robin's fave part of modernity?

She just lost her bff, so she's going to be sad for a bit. :( Honestly, a big thing that needs to happen now is she needs to find a therapist, because all the things she remembered is going to haunt her for a while. Knowing you died somewhere is a little hard to deal with. Otherwise, she's kind of my pup that flits around from place to place, which I don't mind, as she's fun to play off of so many people.

As for Robin, I think he appreciates this world isn't quite fraught with danger and his son can grow up in an environment that really can allow him to be so much. Normal life really wasn't possible in any version of his canon lives, for obvious reasons.

Does Robin have any plans re: rich, poor, stealing from, giving to, or is he not in that business no more?

I wouldn't say not in the business, it's just dormant and will return if Darrow is ever in need of his particular brand of abilities. Right now there's no despotic leader, no gross inequality that needs to be addressed. He's more likely to join in when things go insane (i.e. the giant bee), as he especially has kept his bow skills sharp.

Which is basically right now in line with how he was in Storybrooke, minus living in the forest. LOL.

How would Jennifer react if Duke showed up in Darrow, but he was from before he met her?
thetidebreaks: (Default)

[personal profile] thetidebreaks 2015-03-01 01:49 am (UTC)(link)
LOL oh man. Well, you know Jennifer. She's kind of a person who it'll sting to find out and then she'll immediately attempt to remedy the damn situation because Duke would be worth the effort, always. I can't imagine she'd dislike any version of Duke except maybe from extremely early on when he was a lot more selfish.

What's Elizabeth's biggest fear about having Booker "back" in her life? What's the one thing she wants from him?
thetidebreaks: (Default)

[personal profile] thetidebreaks 2015-03-01 02:04 am (UTC)(link)
Abandonment, again. The girl's been through so much of that, and she's scared of it happening again. She's never had any family that truly loved her, and the idea of trying to let him in and being disappointed terrifies her.

I think what she wants out of Booker right now is someone she can feel like she can trust to respect her. She thought she could, and then the fight happened and it made her realize that he felt he had an uncomfortable amount of control over her life. She wants to be able to talk to him maybe not like a complete equal (they are daughter and father, after all) but someone she didn't have to worry would fly off the handle in extreme ways if she does things he didn't immediately approve of. She's come a long way and knows she deserves to be treated like an adult at this point, one capable of making decisions for herself.
