MEME: Test Drive
The 15th of every month from here on out will bring about our Test Drive meme.
Tag into this post with characters you're thinking of apping to the game (please include the name of their canon somewhere in or on the comment or on their profile page). It can be just a tag, a brief EP, whatever you want. You can be new to the game, or simply want to test out a fresh pup. Tag each other with these characters or those already in game, and have fun.

On the bright side, looks like stars can cross twice after all. She still responds to Eden, you know.
[ but that, that last bit's not pride — just the surety of knowing that the only people who side with her have ulterior motives ]

[ there's a definite tone of avoidance. elle must know that he was once eden's assignment. but even after all the time that's passed and the anger he's felt at times, he cared for eden and talking about her with elle feels ... like an invasion of privacy. ]
I don't want anyone to hurt one another. Do I need to say it?

Thought you said you weren't going to presume.
[ whatever. nothing for her here. her skin crackles with the anger for only a moment — stupid, stupid, her power's been controlled more or less by her emotions lately, and she hates it — but she quickly turns. it's not jealousy, it's just... she's always being pigeonholed, isn't she? into expectations. ]

And it isn't her that I'm worried about.
[ of the two of them, eden isn't the vulnerable one; she can take care of herself. of the three of them, elle isn't the vulnerable one, either. he stares after her back with hard eyes, but helpless ones. he's gone from knowing nothing, to believing nothing, to knowing nothing all over again. young, cynical and presumptuous - always. ]

[ she calls back, voice loud, practiced and foolish in its audacity. really, though. she's not really the one he's concerned about. at least, no more than she can serve as a reflection in the mirror. god, she wishes she had better heels for stomping down the sidewalk. ]

[ no, it's a lack of civility for them, after all. but at least this is an uncivil truth. he whirls himself, fists clenched at his sides, to go the opposite direction. they'll be called together again if destiny requires, for good or ill. ]
