meme: reverse questions

HOW ABOUT A FRIDAY NIGHT MEME?

Muns: Post here listing all of the characters you play (you might want to list journals, too, just for reference) or are thinking of playing.

Everyone: Ask the MUNS anything about the GAME or THEIR PUPS, because we all know the muns will answer when the characters won't. They can be specific questions ("How does he feel about her?") or general questions ("Why did you choose this pup?", "How do you channel them?", etc.) You can even have pups ask the questions, but ANSWERS are coming from the MUNS.

Of all your characters, which aspire most for 'family'? Also, with regards to Charles, Erik would like to know how mad he will be when his hair is mysteriously chopped off one day.

Even though Neil's the one WITH a family, Tommy Conlon is the one who wants one the most. He's such a wreck, but he's really the type who'd settle into marriage and raising a dozen little kids, like he was made for it.

Though he's terrified that he'd be an awful parent, like his father.

DON'T TOUCH HIS HAIR, ERIK.

What was it about Charles in DOFP that made him a must-app?

[personal profile] thetinydemon 2014-07-12 02:00 am (UTC)(link)
I really love seeing a strong, arrogant person fall from grace. As much as I enjoyed him in First Class, with his smugness and optimism and confidence (in First Class, you hardly see Charles question himself or his own beliefs, he's completely secure in his view of the world and what's right), I'm just always going to be drawn to people when they're at their lowest point. When they've lost everything and are just beginning to rebuild the shambles.

He had nothing, but most importantly, he had so little faith in himself and his own abilities. He was raw and angry and volatile and self-loathing, and all the shit I love in a character.

HA HA HA Long term plans, that's cute.

Right now, it's a matter of getting him to the point where he feels like himself again, which was put into motion in canon, but it's not like SURPRISE, I MET MY FUTURE SELF AND I'M ALL BETTER NOW. I want to get him teaching again, I want to get him at least mentoring young, powered people who need guidance, but I'm generally shit at long term plans, unless it's someone I have a particular endgame in mind for.

EH. HE DOESN'T HATE HAVING HIM AROUND, I GUESS.

What is the thing that makes you happiest about playing Thomas and Felix?

Will Hanna really teach Juno how to fight? Because awesome.

I don't like relying too much on a ship, but Thomas and T.J.'s relationship is one of my favorite things ever. Apart from that, I love that Thomas wants good things for himself, and for the very few people he's close to, but still isn't a particularly good or caring person. What I loved about him (until s4 UGH) was that he was a really ambiguous character. A schemer, pretty unlikable, but at the core of him, he's someone who just wants what other people have. He just doesn't know how to get it, without being a dick about it, and THAT'S what I love the most.

Felix is just fun. He doesn't make apologies for himself, he says what he thinks. He's never quiet about his displeasure, and I really love putting him in awkward or dangerous situations, because even though he might appear to lose his shit, he's extremely capable.

Of course. She'd be happy to.

We will not talk about S4. I am enjoying reading his stuff and the relationship he has with Sybil. It's not strange for her like it once was, though she has her moments of forgetting. Annnnd I need to to email you re homeplot which was timed to right before my INSANE HIATUS OF DOOM.

Felix and the bees thrilled me.

Yay!

WHEN ARE SPIKE AND ANDREA GETTING MARRIED, DAMMIT?

Also, is Carl going to go to school? Beth's very worried about losing custody of him if he's a truant. XD

The next thing on the agenda for him is procuring a ring, so.

WHEN IS ANDREA GETTING KNOCKED UP?

LOL They'll probably be able to get him enrolled in the fall. He just... really, really doesn't want to go. I'M SORRY HE'S SUCH A SHIT.

Why aren't I threading with more of these assholes?

Is it your life goal to ruin me with tags from Thomas? Purely hypothetically — and I actually mean that, I'm not thinking of doing anything in the foreseeable future, I'm just curious — what would Thomas do if T.J. actually did relapse?

Do you have long-term plans for Hannibal? If so, what? Can I have more of him and Sansa always?

How is Tommy doing?

WHEN DO I GET CLINT, BITCH? Should I apologize in advance for how suspicious Natasha is going to be?

Because we SUCK, obviously.

As understanding as Thomas has tried to be up until this point, I do think that it would be difficult for Thomas, if T.J. were to relapse. He understands weakness very well, but he also doesn't want to be held back by anything, and I do think he'd have a hard time not resenting T.J. for that sort of regression. HA HA HA Awful. A short term relapse, one real slip-up would be one thing, but if it continued to be bad, Thomas might attempt to leave him, but it wouldn't stick. He wouldn't be able to abandon him.

I didn't really, and now that Will's gone, he's even more up in the air, at the moment. I'd like to get him involved in a cat and mouse game, again, but he'll need to come across someone he deems appropriate for the game, first. ALWAYS MORE SANSA.

Heeeeee's doing a lot better, actually. He feels a little more like himself, for the first time in months. He's still sober. He's going to work, slowly getting back in the ring again. He's doing okay. I don't really know how long it'll last, but for now, it's good.

ROFL Clint's gonna be so sad, but not all that surprised.

How would Carl react if, say, someone were to app his mother (or anyone he saw die, really)?
thetinydemon: (Default)

[personal profile] thetinydemon 2014-07-13 04:09 am (UTC)(link)
As happy as he'd be to see her, it would come with a lot of guilt and confusion, so I feel like he'd begin acting out, in that way only a fourteen year old can. His mother would be especially difficult for him. Shane wouldn't be a picnic.

They're all people that he feels like his father let down, so I'm not sure he'd really know how to face most of them.

[personal profile] b_radwick 2014-07-12 12:48 pm (UTC)(link)
Now I just see you as some sort of twisted warden, going down the isles of your mind, rattling a stick at cages with these characters inside shouting at them to keep it down.

Which of your characters would you have the hardest time killing off and why?
thetinydemon: (Default)

[personal profile] thetinydemon 2014-07-13 04:05 am (UTC)(link)
That's basically what's going on up in here.

Neil. Neil is my baby, I couldn't kill him. I've had him for eight years, I'm just way too emotionally attached to him. Oddly enough, I feel like I'd also have a hard time killing off Brian Kinney, who is young and beautiful and will never die because he's Brian Kinney, for fuck's sake.

And you can't kill off Hannibal Lecter. He's a cockroach, he'll outlive us all.

What, if anything, has surprised you most with Neil's development/growth in the years you've played him?

How would Carl react if Rick showed up in Darrow?

Can Clint get Pizza Dog as an item?
likeaplanet: (Default)

[personal profile] likeaplanet 2014-07-14 03:21 am (UTC)(link)
LOL So many things surprised me. I always wanted the opportunity to give Neil more of a life, but I never could've anticipated that he'd end up where he is. I still have to remind myself that it's okay that he's changed as much as he has, after over eight years in a completely different environment from what he came from.

Carl tries to act like he disapproves of Rick-- of his weakness and of his brutality, but in reality, Carl worships his father. There's a reason he won't take off that damn hat. It would be a really complicated reunion, but where Carl stands right now, Rick is the person he most wants to see again. Even more than he wants to see his mother.

I'd already planned to give him his bow/arrows/costume for his first item, leaving Lucky open in the off chance that someone brings Kate, but if that doesn't happen, I can't just leave the mangy pooch behind.
