Elizabeth Corinne came into the world rather quietly; her parents often joke that she slept through her own birth. In spite of her quiet nature, Elizabeth loves people, erupting into delightful laughter whenever she is held, and is especially fond of people making fools of themselves for her own amusement. She is also adept at using her hands to help express herself, using them whenever she wants attention.

She loves stories, especially when they are acted out with stuffed animals, something her father indulges in often. She enjoys playing with her mother's hair and also listening to her mother talk in general. She refuses to go to sleep without both of her parents in the room.

As she grows up, she develops more freckles and her eyes take on a brighter shade of blue.

There are long periods of time when she seems to be lost in her thoughts, and some of her favorite places involve regular movement — sitting on the beach and watching waves wash in, or staring at a windmill blowing many yards away. Not fond of strangers, but dearly attached to those who are a constant presence in her life, Antonia is quickly endeared when stories are read aloud to her. She enjoys watching her mother's dancing, but leans more towards singing as her own personal hobby, often found humming under her breath as she goes about her day. While she was born with blue eyes, by the time Antonia hit her sixth birthday, they had started to take on a shade of green.

From a very early age, both Mindy and Chase realized that their daughter cared a whole lot about what clothes they dressed her in, what colors she was surrounded by, the works. Kala's got an eye for art and composition that her parents can only hope to one day muster. Beyond that, Kala grew up with very little inclination to enter the medical field. There was just too much talk about it at home, too many times when the hospital took her parents away for long stretches of time, and she wants none of it. Instead, she hopes to be a fashion designer when she grows up. Oh, and? She doesn't want any siblings. No. None. She very much would rather be the center of attention, thanks. From the moment that Cass discovered that she was pregnant, working out the intricacies of how to raise a child and what kind of environment both parents wanted to foster... took a while. How open to be with their child, or whether or not they needed to have someone else help them supervise in those formative years. Most of all, the question of the family legacy came up, time and time again. Passing Cain on to the baby was, in a way, a show of both parents' commitment to make room at the forefront of their hearts and minds for a child. Cassian grew up in a very loving, though at times tumultuous environment. There was just enough openness in the household to temper his behavior, and he became worldly long before many of his peers at school. It made him severe at times, particularly where emotions were concerned. Cutting, sharp — but viewed by many of his friends as wise, and a young leader in his own right.

Thomas Cain son of cassandra cain & kaine After Cass and Kaine had their first son and the first couple of years passed without great incident, they debated having another child. On the one hand, Cassian was already enough of a handful on his own. On the other, neither parent ever wanted their child to feel lonely or want for company. So when Cass found out she was pregnant again, there was no question of whether or not to keep the child. And so Thomas was born, named after Bruce's father, and with a personality not quite like anyone else in the family. Thomas is goofy. Delights in little more than bringing smiles to people's faces. He's solidly of the opinion that the rest of his family is way too serious and way too worked up, and he makes it his goal to get them to laugh and smile once in a while. When they're aren't freaking out over how risk-taking and foolhardy the second Cain son is, anyway.
