MEME: Drabbles and Meta
Today we've got a two-for-one meme!
Tag your characters into the meme, and leave each other either prompts or drabbles, as the mood moves you. Prompts can be anything from a situation to a relationship to a song lyric. Replies can be in the form of drabbles OR meta/rambling about the topic or something associated with it. We all love talking our faces off about these characters, so go ahead and indulge the urge to babble.
Of course, we all know sometimes the inspiration just isn't there, so try not to take it personally if someone just doesn't get to your prompt or if a reply is brief. The more prompts you give, the more likely you are to get!

(it's an origin story)
Yo ho ho, now here's a tale
That's dear to the hearts of those that sail
'Bout a strapping young lad who met with strife
And found himself in for a different life
Yo ho, round the coast of Riverdale.
His father was the keeper of the newspaper's light;
He married a mermaid one fine night
From this union there came three:
A porpoise and a lobster and the other, Reggie!
Yo ho ho, the wind blows free,
Oh, for the life of Crab Reggie!
Late one night, while up to his wrongs
And singing verses from old Archies songs
A voice on the starboard shouted "Ahoy!"
And there was his mother, a-sitting on a buoy.
Yo ho ho, the wind blows free,
Oh, for the life of Crab Reggie!
"Tell me what has become of my children three?"
His mother did ask of Reggie
"One was exhibited as a talking fish
The other was served on a chafing dish."
Yo ho ho, the wind blows free,
Oh, for the life of Crab Reggie!
Then the phosphorous flashed in her seaweed hair
He looked again, his mother wasn't there
A voice echoed out and with lightning was met
"To Hell with the keeper of the Riverdale Gazette!"
Yo ho ho, the wind blows free,
Oh, for the life of Crab Reggie!
Yo ho, yo ho
Yo ho, yo ho, yo ho...
