Meme: Reverse Questions
Muns: Post here listing all of the characters you play (you might want to list journals, too, just for reference) or are thinking of playing.
Everyone: Ask the MUNS anything about the GAME or THEIR PUPS, because we all know the muns will answer when the characters won't. They can be specific questions ("How does he feel about her?") or general questions ("Why did you choose this pup?", "How do you channel them?", etc.) You can even have pups ask the questions, but ANSWERS are coming from the MUNS.

I'm of two minds about this one. I went to a gallery Q+A with some of the animators way back when the movie first came out, and Paul Briggs said that Rapunzel and Flynn making a cameo was not intentional. It was a sight gag planted by one of the other animators, and most of them hadn't known it was happening until they attended the first screening. So to me, it's more a fun nod than canon, and because the time period/historical influences are so separate that makes sense to me. Tangled is loosely set in the late 18th century. Frozen is firmly set in the 1840s. (Obviously historical accuracy is a separate issue altogether, since, y'know, TALKING SNOWMEN and shit, but it's the most heavily historical researched Disney piece yet, so I like to abide by that because I'm a fuckin' nerd.) Either Rapunzel ages REALLY well (possible, actually, but Flynn wouldn't, would he?) and is super old but looks 18, OR it's just a sight gag. I usually lean toward the latter.
I'm sorry, once I start talking, I really start talking
BUT for the purposes of the game, it's hard to ignore Rapunzel's presence in Arendelle and, besides, it's way more fun not to. So when it comes to the game, I assume that Corona is an ally and trade partner. The countries aren't super close, but they're close enough for them to be aware of each other and for Elsa to keep track of the news from Corona, so she would be familiar with the story of the missing princess and her return to the kingdom and all of that. Of course, given the events of the night, she probably only got to speak to Rapunzel and her husband briefly before everything went to hell, but she would certainly remember her.
A lot of people theorize that because the crew said that the king and queen were en route to a wedding when they died, that they'd been meant to attend Rapunzel's wedding, and if you assume the stories exist in the same time frame, then the timeline on that makes some sense. Buuuut I'm not going with that theory because a) I don't super overlap the two outside of Darrow and b) it would be incredibly sad and Elsa would have difficulty being more than politely friendly with Rapunzel because of the reminder, and it's much nicer when everyone can be friends. :3
