Meme: Reverse Questions

Muns: Post here listing all of the characters you play (you might want to list journals, too, just for reference) or are thinking of playing.

Everyone: Ask the MUNS anything about the GAME or THEIR PUPS, because we all know the muns will answer when the characters won't. They can be specific questions ("How does he feel about her?") or general questions ("Why did you choose this pup?", "How do you channel them?", etc.) You can even have pups ask the questions, but ANSWERS are coming from the MUNS.

(Like, I agree that neither of these makes for real representation, but it does tell me a lot about the society Elsa was raised in.

For the record, that is a perfect summation of my general reaction when people point that out. It's a start towards something better. <3

Agreed. It's a gradual process, and every step counts. Like, I'm bisexual and half-Chinese, believe me, I'd LOVE to see more representation for other sexualities and ethnicities in Disney films. In any film. I want more steps and bigger. But that doesn't keep Frozen from being a great film, and I think focusing exclusively on what it doesn't have does a disservice to the representation that is there. I mean, we have our first Disney royal with a mental disorder! That's so huge to me. Like, that's an understatement. I cry every time I watch this movie. IT WAS ONLY SUPPOSED TO BE A CARTOON OH GODDDD

Yeah exactly. I love Frozen for what it is. I don't think it's part of some oppressive agenda, though it is endemic of the current issues of media representation. If that makes any sense?

That said, the reason I love Elsa so much is that I read her as a metaphor for my own depression. She can be more than one thing to all kinds of people. The fact that Demi Lovato, who also has a history of the depression, did the pop version of Let It Go made it so much more powerful to me.

Also I saw it again today and pretty much sat there going I'M NOT CRYING YOU'RE CRYING.

AND YEAH. The fact that I get to play Elsa in one game and play WITH your Elsa in this one is the best of everything.

And I think Oaken is my favorite character. So goofy and cute.

Yes, yes, yessss. She really is just... kind of a stand-in for all of us who've isolated ourselves for one reason or another, because of something that makes us different from the norm. Like, it's confirmed she has depression and anxiety, but that doesn't for one second stop her from being all things to everyone, and I love that. She's a torchbearer for the lost because she's so lost herself.

I'm making about a billion icons, by the way, so if you need any for your other game, I'll point you their way when I finish. XD

HOO HOO. I wish they would make all the Disney people use that as the new official park greeting.

There needs to be some kind of wacky winter plot with him. Somehow.
