Meme: Reverse Questions

Muns: Post here listing all of the characters you play (you might want to list journals, too, just for reference) or are thinking of playing.

Everyone: Ask the MUNS anything about the GAME or THEIR PUPS, because we all know the muns will answer when the characters won't. They can be specific questions ("How does he feel about her?") or general questions ("Why did you choose this pup?", "How do you channel them?", etc.) You can even have pups ask the questions, but ANSWERS are coming from the MUNS.

As I've rambled at you before, Combeferre has a complicated relationship with religion. In my head, he grew up religious, but because radical political belief in 19th century France is pretty incompatible with Catholicism, he has spent the last decade or so grappling with what his faith means. He learned pretty quickly not to talk about it much among his friends, except when on a philosophical tear, but I don't think his faith ever stopped quietly guiding him. He really appreciates that he can approach Catholicism in a relatively depoliticized way in Darrow, and is still trying to figure out what it means for him now.

Rene is a straight-up atheist. Deep down, I don't think he really cares that much about religion or God one way or the other, but he loves the opportunity to make a fuss and argue about it. I can picture him discovering Richard Dawkins shortly after coming to Darrow and just being absolutely insufferable for a while, but soon enough, he'd go back to not caring. XD

I think Henri is still trying to figure out what progress and democracy means in Darrow. Obviously, he couldn't be happier that it exists, and he never expected it to solve all of mankind's problems, but he has spent so much thought and energy just trying to get this far that he isn't sure what happens next. Does he try to improve medical care, or increase educational opportunities, or tackle income inequality? He needs a little more time to figure out what he can contribute to this new world.

Courfeyrac is going to take to modern politics like a fish to water. He is going to dive right in and completely thrive in a world of fundraising, and vote wrangling, and lobbying, and all the rest. It's going to be everything he could ever dream of and more. I mean, he is going to discover corruption, and stupidity, and nepotism, and all the rest, and he will rage and swear, and then try to make things better. Basically, he's going to turn into Josh Lyman.
