Meme: Reverse Questions
Muns: Post here listing all of the characters you play (you might want to list journals, too, just for reference) or are thinking of playing.
Everyone: Ask the MUNS anything about the GAME or THEIR PUPS, because we all know the muns will answer when the characters won't. They can be specific questions ("How does he feel about her?") or general questions ("Why did you choose this pup?", "How do you channel them?", etc.) You can even have pups ask the questions, but ANSWERS are coming from the MUNS.

I'm Sarah and I currently play:
Alexander Molokov/Chess
Cissie King-Jones/Young Justice comics
and at some point dammit:
Grantaire/Les Miserablés

I feel like Molokov is someone that could easily be made mustache-twirly evil spy dude. How do you balance his Creepy McCreeperson side with everything else about him?

Oh, I agree about Molokov and the mustache-twirly thing, it could definitely be really easy to play him that way and think nothing of it.
But for me, my head canon for him is that he genuinely believes in the might of Russia and the USSR. There are problems, sure, but they are the shining light of civilization and all should know and revere the wonder. That being said, in the interests of protecting and working for your country, sometimes you have to do terrible, terrible things. And that's all right, that is a sacrifice he willingly makes - someone must do it and he is very, very good at it.
I don't think he's capable of seeing how far he's come from his ideal and is a creepy, power-abusing bastard instead of the shining champion of communism but that is part of what I enjoy about playing him. He has moments of niceness, sure, but he is really a /terrible/ person. He just thinks he's doing what he does for the right reasons.

When I brought her in, my idea with her had been for her to flail around for a bit, realize that she really wanted to get back into the superheroing thing and go about it.
And to some respect, she's done that (though I think I need to do more EPs and whatnot to show that) but what I didn't expect is all the different relationships and whatnot she'd have. That is definitely awesome and means that I get to have her deal with, for one thing, a relationship with someone she /hasn't/ known forever and a day and also doesn't know about her extracurricular activities. And with Damon, there's a whole new supernatural side of things that she was never really aware of before.
What I would really like to do would be to have her team up with the different superheroing types, like a sort of Birds of Prey or Darrow Young Justice type of thing. She's done the superheroing on her own before, but it was with Young Justice that she found a family and I think that's something she needs here too - a reminder that she really /doesn't/ have to do things on her own.
I've always been toying around with the idea of having her go back to school but I don't know.

I really like all the social stuff that you have her do, it's fun to follow her being just a normal girl.
If you want to do any hero team ups just let me know, I have Kaine and Billy!

I think she'd definitely less black and white about it all, if that makes any sense. She has more of a sense that there are different reasons for why people might do different things and they aren't always bad even if it doesn't necessarily follow the law.
That being sad, she still has few very firmly held beliefs: you don't kill, you don't hurt innocent people and you really should keep your crime-fighting life separate from your civilian life.
That last bit, incidentally, is one of the things I love about Korra and Cissie's relationship. They have different opinions on that and Korra's really forcing Cissie to keep evaluating how she feels about that subject.

Plus, I think Molokov will absolutely adore being able to speak Russian to someone who is actually from the motherland.

Well, she can certainly do that. (as long as it doesn't go into why she's Udinov not Udinova, since the show never touched on that even with other native Russians)

I decided I wanted to bring Cissie here and I wanted to do it from the comics. I love the show (even if it took me a little while to get over the kneejerk reaction of 'THAT'S NOT WHAT HAPPENED IN THE COMICS, YOU'RE DOING IT WRONG) but I never got the feeling of 'OOH WANT TO APP' from that as I did from the show.
(Besides, no Cissie and Cassie being bffs on the show? INCONCEIVABLE!)

Besides, fighting back would give her a compliment that she is a worthy opponent and he is petty enough to not want that.
Because he is TERRIBLE.
