Yes, of course. Introductions would only be appropriate, even given the apparent amnesia running rampant. I'm Hal. We met some time ago when my colleagues and I came to you for aid.

Well, it's very nice to meet you, Hal. I'm Annie.

[ she smiles broadly, pleased, before knitting her brows in thought ]

I can't remember any of us asking... ooh! Ooh! Wait, Nina mentioned that, erm, some people were working on a cure for her... condition. Do you happen to be working with her?

[lordharry]

[Guilt passes over his face at the mention of Nina, but it's subdued and suppressed]

I'm afraid it was in search of a cure, but not for a woman named Nina. It was for a friend of mine who thought that an angel led us to your door.

[polter]

An angel? ...can't say that I've ever heard that one.

Wait, earlier — did you mention amnesia?

[lordharry]

It's the only explanation that would make sense given that you don't recognise me. While I would like to believe I'm that forgettable, I've been countlessly assured of my unique personality.

What else could it be but amnesia?

[polter]

You know, I'm actually not sure.

[ she pauses. can a ghost even get amnesia about people unrelated to the unfinished business that keeps them around? does he even know that she's a ghost? ]

Have you met either George or Mitchell? Perhaps if they're around, they can help to clear this mess up. Because you're right; I'm not one for forgetting things, either.

[lordharry]

I'm afraid I've only heard of them, though I know of Mitchell's reputation quite well. He and I have a good number of mutual 'friends' between us. Acquaintances is perhaps a better word. Maybe enemies.

[polter]

...well, he does have a lot of those.

[ that seals it. he must be, must be something not quite human. right? ]

What kind of aid were you coming to me for, if not something that's better asked of George or Mitchell?

My friend Leo is ... was ... a werewolf. We were seeking a solution to the unfortunate problem of mortality. In truth, Leo was really looking to find me a new and stable place to live once he was gone.
