[ it's the hug that relaxes her, a deep exhale passing her lips before she grabs back on. for a while, she'd thought she'd gone mental. imagined everything. finally cracked under the pressure and just... stepped out of reality. now she's only left with countless questions she can't even begin to answer. ]

N-no, I'm afraid I haven't... well, I haven't even tried, most people around here can't seem to see me. Still don't miss the way that felt.

Yeah, how about you try going a few days being invisible to everyone and see if it's a bad thing. I can act normal, Mitchell. I'm not going to be a danger to us figuring this out if people can see me walking about.

Well, it could use addressing! Actually, you've been a bit distant and distracted with me as well. I only want to figure out what's going on with you, Mitchell, and if I should be worried.

And yeah, maybe showing up in a weird city is kind of rough, but I'm here to work with you, you know. [ she reaches up, brushing some of his hair out of his face. ]
