Because we haven't done this in a year and I want RP babies but have no immediate way to act on this:

Even before learning the meaning of a single word, Chris started babbling at a mile a minute to try and keep up with his parents. He soon became very good at impressions and following the general cadence of conversations. And, because Hermione's magic came through, soon that meant accidentally setting off spells all around the house.

Which naturally just made his father even more of a nervous person.

Chris delights in teasing his father, who seems very suspectible to any little thing going wrong, and also delights in stressing out his mother, whose hair only grows exponentially when it happens.

He's a bit of a troublemaker.

With both parents having someone important in their lives named Cassie, when their daughter smiled for the first time, the choice in name seemed obvious. Taking after both her parents and her namesakes, Cassandra (who more commonly goes by Cassie) is a girl who smiles often and has a very high capacity for love and adoration in her heart. Being doted on by both parents, there are times when she gets upset when she doesn't get her way, but for the most part, she prefers to spend her time on making other people happy.

Like her father, she's a bit of a goofball, often heard shrieking in laughter when she gets the reaction she wants out of people. But on occasion, she can grow quiet as well, mostly when she's busy daydreaming.

More commonly going by the name Millie, Seth and Summer's daughter ended up terrifying her parents by being the quietest baby in existence. She didn't cry, her fussing was so quiet that they had to keep the monitors on high to even register the noise, and she was pretty late to try babbling as well. If you asked her small little baby mind, it was really because there was enough noise to distract her and keep her occupied in the house.

Those parents of hers, they talk a lot.

What actually got Millie to break out of her shell was music. At one point, Seth realized that playing Death Cab on his laptop resulted in little Millie swaying back and forth in her pen.

At that point, his fears about parenting dropped by about 50%.

And as soon as she could crawl, she began to tug all of the books in the house to her little corner of the family room, flipping through the pages and using her fingers to trace over the lines of text.

The problem is, as soon as she became old enough to understand what the words meant, Dana started trying to find them, make them tangible to her mind. Read about butterflies? Catch a butterfly.

Sometimes a boo-boo in the process, too.

But Jason and Fred are proud of their curious daughter and do everything in their power to stay by her side, letting her explore without too many bumps in the process.

She'll trust her parents over them any day.

Saadi is most at ease in nature, with the noise of the city far behind her and the ground solid beneath her feet. She loves climbing trees and has quickly learned to make much more ambitious leaps than a girl of her size probably should, always pushing her limits.

Aden is a child that was raised to appreciate the importance of both politics and medicine.

Consider that for a moment.

With his parents involved in very time-consuming and energy-sapping fields, Aden grew up with both an appreciation for personal space and a strong streak of independence, finding ways to occupy himself if both of his parents weren't able to give himt he attention he secretly craved. It wasn't that he ever lacked for affection when they were around; both parents loved him, Aden was always sure of that. But sometimes, daddy went off because the hospital needed him. Or mommy spent long hours at the office because it was almost election time.

Those days were a little lonelier.

Once, he found out that pretending to be sick was enough to pull his parents for a bit longer. It was harder to pull over his dad's head than his mom's, but eventually he learned both how to efficiently lie and how to list the right symptoms for dad to stick around.

Making him, by the age of four, a very dangerous kid indeed. (As far as potential went, anyway.)
