Yeah, well, when you've been here a while, you kind of start to be able to tell. It's not you, don't worry. But, uh, hi, welcome, I'm Summer.

Well, that's new. It's almost always me fucking up. Summer it is, then. It's always Summer, or sometimes Autumn. Why is it never Winter or Spring? I'm Abby, I guess.

You guess. Uh, okay. Well, it's nice to meet you, Abby. And, you know, now that you mention it, I never have met a Winter or Spring. Weird, huh?

I don't guess. I am. It's just a way I say things, I gue--suppose. There's probably somebody with that name, somewhere. There's somebody with every name. How long have you been here, anyway?

Um, it's -- what, August, now? So... almost a year. Wow, that's weird to think about. But yeah, I showed up last September. Not really my finest moment.

A year. So this is just your life now, then? What happened? It can't have been that bad.

Yeah, this is just my life now. Weird, but what can you do, right?

And I was, uh, standing on top of a coffee cart. Already not a great day, and showing up here really didn't help.

What, there's nothing you can do? This just is? And, uh, that's at least an interesting anecdote.

Just is. I mean, not that I've actually tried, but other people have, and apparently, this is all there is. Great, huh?

It's definitely that. And kind of a long story. It's a thing.

Jesus. That's not good. I mean, I wasn't exactly doing anything before, but at least I knew where I was. Well, I've got as much time as you do, if you ever decide to, you know, tell it.
