Secret Santa Day Two

On the second day of Chrismukkah, your Secret Santa post was once again made on company time. 8D

Each day from now through Christmas, you'll find a post like this one waiting. Leave anonymous comments with your gift for your Secret Santee (make sure to put his or her name in the subject line so they can find it!). Remember, it's okay if you don't have something every day. We do, however, encourage you to leave a little note to let them know they haven't been forgotten. Christmas Day will be a free-for-all, where you can leave presents for anyone at all and, if you so desire, reveal your identity.

When you first brought in Andrea, I gotta say, I couldn't figure out WHY you were so drawn to this character, whom I'd only seen in the television show. We all know what they've done to here, there, so I don't even need to explain my frustration. But I managed to read a bit of the comics here and there, but more than that, your playing of her instantly grabbed me. I was charmed by her within your first post, and it's only gotten worse as we go. She's strong and tough and resilient, but without forgoing her humanity, her compassion, her loyalty to friends and her capacity for hope, even after all she's been through. I feel like they've fallen into a trap with her on the show, that something's been horribly lost within the translation. She's become a caricature of what she should be, all bad decisions and nothing left in her that's relatable or likeable, which is something you've managed to completely avoid. She's a joy to play off of, a joy to read, and I can't wait to see what you have in store for her.

I'm lucky enough that I get to thread with her regularly, and I've gotta say, those threads are among the ones I cherish most. In other words, KEEP IT UP, YOU'RE AWESOME.

Oh Sarah, light of our lives, first I would like apologize for totally failing to make even a cameo appearance yesterday. Let's just say that your santa was held up by a series of (hilariously) unfortunate events that spiraled out of control, etc etc. Let's blame gremlins.

There will be legitimate pretty things made by moi later, but for now please enjoy some DW points to use as you see fit since almost all of your current pups have paid time.

Today is very late, my apologies! It's also very simple, just a few words.

When I started playing at TR I wasn't the greatest writer, and you were one of those people I was so impressed by. Your handle of your characters, the way they showed their emotion rather than you telling it. I think that's why I picked Veronica yesterday, you always made her thoughts and feelings seem so real. I loved playing off of her, and would read her threads to figure out ways to improve my own characterization and writing.

You continue to be amazing at the city. Your grasp of your characters always impresses me, especially how you handle such a bunch of strong women with conflicting feelings and thoughts.

So, a thank you. Thank you for your writing and for caring so much about the people you play. It comes through in every tag.
