In spite of their situation, Neve smiles. This early in the investigation, there's no such thing as a wrong theory. Count on Bel to worry about offending her with one that, even as Neve considers it, doesn't seem so far-fetched.

"We live in the realm of dreams," she reminds. "This could be another corner of it." But no, that isn't right, is it? It doesn't feel like the Fade, and when she flexes her fingers to reach for her magic, the Fade itself feels... farther away.

"I don't think it's magic," she adds. "At least not any magic I've ever felt. An artifact, maybe? Your gauntlet, it resonates with artifacts, doesn't it? Can you pick anything up with it? Remnants, maybe?"
