No, I'm from a place called Ingary. I've been to another world once but it wasn't like this place at all.

So what are video games like nowadays? My brother Robbie would probably go crazy if he could play Pac-Man in, like, three dimensions instead of just two.

Oh my god. I'm obsessed with this question. Video games have changed so much. There are amazing graphics, all sorts of different stories, different consoles... Like, there's something for everyone. And I am maybe a little bit of a nerd about it.

I mean... Okay, you're such a nerd, but. Not in a bad way.

So it's not just... chasing ghosts through a maze, or batting a little ball side to side, or shooting space invaders?

No, it's okay. I am definitely a nerd. I own it.

[ Did Lisa almost say cute? Mouse second-guesses herself as soon as the thought has crossed her mind, but even so, her cheeks get a little warm as she smiles. ]

And it is so not just any of those things. There are games with, like, really detailed fantasy lore, and some that are more action-y. I'm not too big on first-person shooters, but they can be good stress relief sometimes. There's a whole bunch of what are called cozy games, which are meant to be relaxing, usually involving things like farming, or camping, and having little daily tasks you can do. Cooking sims, Rock Band, games where you "dance," which is basically just stomping in a certain pattern... Pretty much if you can think of it, there's a game for it.

[ Those are a lot of words that make sense by themselves, but Lisa has a hard time understanding them in the context of video games. She sounds more like she's talking about movies than games. But she's also so excited, so genuinely interested. ]

Wow. Wait, 'cooking sims'? Like, simulation, like you pretend to cook? Why wouldn't you just cook in real life?
