Elio is Jamie's brother, which is so NOT what I expected when I used the same face for him, but it happened so naturally and in such a lovely way that I honestly just can't imagine anything else for them. Another unexpected friendship, but honestly, Sweeney would be lost without Rapunzel. She's SO sweet and so kind, but you manage to write her without it ever becoming the only thing she has going on. Her kindness is present in everything, but you also capture the badass streak she has, the way she doesn't put up with anyone's shit, and she's wonderful.

Maeve loves him. So how do your characters just keep sneaking up on mine? Getting Maeve into a ship was NEVER something I planned, because, well, you know her canon and her attitude toward guys most of the time. XD It was just not on my radar at all, but something just happened with them and it weirdly made sense and it worked and it's been working for like, A YEAR, WTF.

I love your dedication to getting him beat up, as canon dictates. XD Also Hopper loves him, too, even if he's about as good at saying it as Maeve is.

Literally how could I ever begin to explain how much I love you and I love Klaus.
Your playing him is the reason I watched The Umbrella Academy. Sure, the Sheehan and Elliot factors helped, and sure, I love a dystopic superhero tale and/or dysfunctional family. But it was not even on my list until like 3 conversations with you and I was hooked.

I think the thing about playing Klaus is you have a truly impressive amount of options with him. Run in any direction and you'll probably find it in Klaus' history. I love the way you emphasize the sweetness of him. I'll never forget our first Hargreeves thread where Vanya just fucking went for it with the hug and Klaus stopped, processed and - to quote you in that thread - leaned in hard. I could see it that hover-hands moment, and to read/feel the shift of it was really, truly just everything.

This getting high thread we're working on is also peak Klaus to me. There he is, feeling like Vanya's talking to the exact wrong person about matters of the heart - and there he is: supportive, emphatic and gentle as he fucking nails it and says the exact right thing. It wasn't perfect at all, but it was perfect for her. That's the kind of Hargreeves content I'm here for.

Then they get high together. Yes. A+ Klausing.

Also, our Butcher and Klaus threads. Literally some of my favorite ever.

Writing with you is a pleasure. You're generous with your tags, thoughtful with your characters and you make me laugh constantly. As a person, you're one of my faves. We talk so much about how much we love Gideon and Harrow, because we DO and it's GREAT and so are they, but I hope you know that playing Harrow wouldn't be anywhere near as delightful for me if I didn't have a Gideon as utterly fantastic as yours to play off of. You never forget that she's SO YOUNG and has seen so little of the world, and her delight at simple, small things--like going to the beach! like snapbacks!--is just so perfectly rendered and feels so in-character. I love it.

I can't believe she and Danny are going to be parents so soon, and I'm SO EXCITED to see where this leads them both. You've turned her into someone who, for what's really the first time in her life, can imagine having a life at all--one that's full and rich and peaceful, all the things she wants in canon. At the same time, you don't forget the viper inside of her and the way that still shapes her here in Darrow; she's a softer creature than she was direct from the book, but she hasn't lost her bite.

O K A Y I hope this doesn't sound weird, but I usually think of you as someone who plays characters who are very externally focused--their very physical, they wear their hearts on their sleeves, they take up a lot of (literal and figurative) space. And I love how good you are at playing them. BUT THEN THERE'S VANYA, who seems to try so hard not to take up space, and I love how effortlessly you turn all the intensity of emotion you bring to characters inward. I never got very far with Umbrella Academy, but Vanya was my favorite, and I love reading her threads. I really want her to meet Palamedes because I think they'd get on super well, and also I miss threading with you. <3

Excuse me, hi, have I waxed rhapsodic about the way you play Anakin lately bc it has been AT LEAST a minute and that is far too long.

I just... fuck, Angel, the way you play him blows me away every single time. He's such an easy character to get wrong, and you never, ever do. I love that you don't shy away from the less-than-pleasant aspects of his personality, and that you make him face up to them and try to do better; I love how clearly you convey that he has a huge heart and just loves his people a whole hell of a lot. You've given him a fantastic character arc that really makes sense and feels true to who he is, and it just makes me even sadder about canon because you've shown what he could have been. Playing Padmé wouldn't be nearly as much fun without him, or with someone else playing him, and I am so glad you decided to app him after all.

I don't understand how anyone could play this little shit so well. He's acerbic, avoidant, generally A Dick. Yet, I want to squish him all day. An impossible balance. Yet, you nail it. You're always good at your characters, but I feel particularly strongly about the way you play Five. Our handful of threads are very seriously some of my favorites: her intro and the Valentine's one in particular. He bought them a house, I cry. He is afraid the world is going to end, I cry. He threatens Vanya's NPC girlfriend, I laugh BUT ALSO I CRY.

And gimme more alwayssssss. Five and Vanya, forever in the library, asking questions and sharing facts like the besties they were born to be.

You know I could go on about this all day. Thanks for playing Five with that soft spot for Vanya, thanks for letting me fuck around with it and idk I now have all of these Hargreeves feelings I don't know what to do with. I love playing these dorks. Seems only right that it's with you. ♥

I'm sure I have said some of this to you before, but man, I am constantly blown away by how well you play Rue. You always have such a dedication to doing justice to what your characters have been through and are dealing with — I'm biased as hell, but Max will always be a favorite of mine in that regard, too — but that really shines through with Rue. Not only can I always hear her inner monologue in Zendaya's voice just as if it were Euphoria voiceover, but the way you write her addiction and anxiety with such a clear commitment to handling both realistically is so, so thoughtful and impressive. I knew when you first told me you were thinking about bringing her that she'd be in good hands if you did, and YEAH, I love her a lot. I gotta figure out who to throw at her now.

One thing I really appreciate about the way you play Richie is how seriously you treat this very comedically-minded character. In a lesser writer's hands, he could just be this conglomeration of jokes and impressions and jackass teen energy; instead, because he's with you, we get this look at him as a fully-realized, fully human character. He's had such amazing arcs already--some funny, some wrenchingly emotional--and I can't wait to see where he goes next.

I've played off of Yona with a bunch of mine. She's always kind of the one I immediately gravitate towards, because she's fun and warm and weird, and almost always just goes with the flow, and kind of effortlessly curious and friendly with everyone, which is especially good when it comes to a lot of mine, who are... not like that.

I've just really loved watching her grow up. It's crazy to think that a little bubble like Darrow could EXPAND a person's world, but it really has for her, and it's been really cool to watch her experience life in a way she never could have before.

I feel like I might be the only person left on the planet who hasn't seen The Untamed, but reading the two characters in game has made me very tempted. I love the juxtaposition of the two of them, and I love how Lan Wangji comes across as so stoic, but that it's clear from your writing of him that there's a well of feelings underneath that exterior. I think I've only threaded with him once or twice, but I would very much like to change that in the near future. ♥
