Merry Christmas (and happy birthday to Angel). We hope each and every one of you, whether you celebrate the holiday or not, have a wonderful day and an even better new year. You're all so very dear to us, and we love you very much.

And now let's get to gift giving! If you want to, today is the day to throw off your capes and masks and reveal your true identities! Or to keep your recipient guessing and slip off into the night, forever mysterious! It's also a day of celebration for all. Didn't play this year? Have something for someone who wasn't assigned to you? Doesn't matter, have at it! Spread cheer willy nilly and shower each other with love and presents. Today is a free-for-all and anything goes.

I'm not sure how many of you are familiar with Cabin Pressure, which was a BBC radio show with Benedict Cumberbatch (before Sherlock), Roger Allam (whose list of credits is ... extensive), and later in the show, Anthony Head (aka Giles and a whole bunch of other stuff). One of the other characters is Arthur, the dim but lovable airline steward.

This morning John Finnemore as Arthur posted a version of God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen that made me chuckle, so I'm sharing it: here.

I don't know if this is what you had in mind that time you said I was, singlehandedly, the War on Christmas but I like to think I did my best.

On a personal note, I am so glad to have been able to, hopefully, make your Christmas a little extra merry and bright. I love playing with you and more than that, having gotten to know you and yours over the last few years and I hope that only continues from here! (For one thing, my Luke is definitely going to have to meet Leia, now that he knows Star Wars is real ;D) I'm excited to see what you do with Alexis and Leia from here out and maybe (maybe?) see a return from Anya or anything else you do in the future.

Is it weird that I could hear the drumroll in my head? Cause I could! I am sorry for not responding to this yesterday but by the time I had free time I was wiped. All the energy for small boy Christmas.

My plan is to bring Alexis and a return for Anya in 2021! Ring in the year and I’m glad more people are excited than just me. I love playing with you too! You have been such a great Santa and a wonderful friend. Thank you!
