MEME: Veritaserum
Your pup has just ingested a large quantity of veritaserum, or "truth potion." Any questions asked of them they have to answer truthfully, whether they want to or not! There's absolutely no way around it.
Tag in your pup's name, and others will ask them painful questions. Nothing is off the board!
As always, come back later to tag new folks and ask new, terrifyingly embarrassing questions!

...I did. Not intentionally, I'd like to point out.

You're going to answer anything I ask as literally as you can get away with, aren't you? Please elaborate on how you gave yourself a nickname unintentionally.

...okay, fine. There's reports that need to be written for Lethe after each ritual we observe, others that need to be filed if something...goes wrong, or if there's an anomaly that needs to be noted. We keep records, it's what we do. I got into the habit of signing mine as D. Arlington, and with how abysmal my handwriting is, it tended to look a little more like a single word. Hence, Darlington.
I tried to get Alex to use a similar convention, but she told me she wasn't going to risk being known as Astern for four years. Can't say I blame her.

D. Arlington., I get it. That's actually a little relieving. If you'd thought Darlington was legitimately a cool thing to get people to call you I'd be a little concerned.
[She laughs.] I don't either. Astern. It sounds like a posh name for a toilet. Mine doesn't work at all.
All right: what would you have done with -- knowing about magic -- if Lethe hadn't chosen you?
And, your turn, if you want one.
