With the holiday season upon us, it's time for a chance to spread the love, gush about all of our wonderful pups and players, and just be generally cool to one another.

Tag in with a top level listing your characters, then go around and respond to the others with kudos. Tell them why you love having them in game, what you enjoy about their characters, praise a specific plot or thread, whatever love you have to spread, or just give a little love for the player themself, 'cause we could all use it.

Holy shit, do I love yours. Like, I mean, for one, your David is so good that he's the entire reason I even thought to bring in Patrick. It was genuinely that playing off David with Michael was so good, and he was so IC that I knew I had to.

And I still have so much lingering affection for both John and Sweeney from days old. They're both so incredible, and I love them so much!

Basically, every time I get to thread with yours, I know it's gonna be good, and I can't wait to keep on with that in 2020!

You know what I was thinking about the other day? Lily and Lennox and all of the head canons that we had about when Lily was younger and used to wear red shoes to go dancing. We have so much history between us, in terms of RP, and it is so, so lovely to still be threading with you as regularly as I do, all of this time later. Looking at this, I realise that some of my favourite things recently have been with you and yours (I particularly enjoy Harry and Newt and, obviously, Kaz and Marcus). I think my most favourite recently has been the thread with Kaz and Marcus when Marcus was possessed. That was so good and I look forward to figuring out the fallout. Their's is a totally unlikely friendship, but I love the way that it has blossomed and the way that that interaction has really helped me figure out the ways which Kaz could soften in a place like Darrow and still feel in character. I can't wait for their friendship to continue to develop, especially when Kaz becomes a father and Marcus is inevitably involved in the twins' lives. I'd ALSO really like for Marcus to meet Alex, since I think that would be a really interesting interaction :D

In short: I love threading with you. Don't go anywhere!

LEAH. I have so loved getting to thread with you a whole bunch over the last year, and I adore the way Jamie and Rosie have become such excellent friends!

I also want to shout out how much your love for Harry Goodsir (the character and the actual man) shines through in the way you play him--it feels like you have this respect for him and a wish to do him justice in this way that I feel is important when you're playing someone who's at least a little bit of a real-life human being. I feel like the ghosts of the Franklin Expedition would be proud of you, and I realize that's weird to say, but it's also true. So there. XD

Leah! I have loved playing with you since the Siren Cove days, and I feel lucky to have been in two games now and gotten to be your friend through that <33 Your tagging and writing in general is so excellent, but you're also just a really awesome person and I'm glad to know you.

One of my favorite things about being in a panfandom game with you, too, is that you write such vivid, awesome characters that often, I start out not knowing their canons and end up ~having to go watch because they become so important or interesting to me. (I don't think I'd have watched The Exorcist if it weren't for you and that would definitely be my loss!)

I value all of our threads and CR so so much and I hope we only have more in the future!

There’s something about the characters you choose that play well with the ones I choose, and I don’t know what it is, but I love it. Daniel and Reese, Eowyn and her dryhtbearn, Nikita and Hopper, and Eowyn and Jaime are all excellent.

We've been playing off of each other FOREVER. I actually think you're the person I've played with the longest, or at least with the most consistency, over all these years. THAT'S CRAZY, RIGHT? Like, hey, remember the Neil/Joe Dick AU we did once? That was wild.

We've had so many close friendships, so many fucking amazing ships, I don't even know where to start. There was a long period of time where I was kind of hesitant to ship with people, but you're always someone I've trusted. I know you'll be upfront with me, I know you'll be open to whatever crazy shit I might come up with, I know that whatever we do it'll be fun and creative and challenging and memorable. Like, I could go down a list of pups we don't even have anymore and this comment would be very, very long.

So many of my pups love so many of yours SO FIERCELY, and I know that's because you play all of your characters with so much heart, with so much care. You're not afraid of their ugly parts, you're not afraid to take risks with them, and I always get so fucking excited whenever you start talking about bringing someone new, because I know they're going to be as interesting and nuanced as all your other characters.

Marcus Keane and Neil's friendship was such a weird surprise. One of my very favorite cross-canon accidents. And the stuff we've managed to do with him and Sam have been some of my favorite things I've done in RP in a long time.

And like, where the fuck did Spike and Sweeney come from. I NEVER in a million years could've predicted that. After Andrea, I assumed he'd be pathetic forever, but Sweeney came out of nowhere and literally annoyed Spike into loving him, which is... LOL really fucking appropriate, actually. GOD. He's so much fun, and I'm kind of sad that his friendship with Eddie ends up getting a backseat to our other relationships with those characters, because it's hilarious and strange and wonderful. But again, Spike is possessive as shit, so he always wins out in the WHO GETS TO TAG THIS war.

HOPPER. I NEED MORE HOPPER. Laura will inappropriately flirt with him while also thinking of him as a father figure forever, so I hope you're enjoying that bit of weirdness as much as I am. Have we ever actually threaded Hopper with Eddie? I almost don't want to, because I'm just enjoying what seems to be our mutual understanding that they confuse the shit out of each other while mostly staying out of each other's way.

God, I just. I don't know what to say about Jamie. I love him so much. I love the canon, but I love what you've done with him more. Because I'm selfish and a narcissist and this version of Jamie is one I've been lucky enough to be a part of. His relationship with Eddie is adorable, but there's so much more depth to it than I ever would've anticipated. They're not a whole lot alike, but they compliment each other in really interesting ways. Eddie already had six other soulmates, but Jamie is, without a doubt, his seventh.

I need to thread more with Goodsir. Kick me until I do.

Fuuuuuuuuuuck. David is so fucking fun. I've never felt like I do comedy well. Feeling comfortable in that balance of being funny while still making sure the character feels like a real person is something I've struggled with, so I'm jealous as fuck of how well you do it with David. His friendship with Celeste is so fucking great. They're both such caustic people, and David really brings out the best in Celeste... like, the only goodness in her really only comes out when maybe two people are around, and he's one of them. So, lucky him, I guess?

FUCK YOU, JAIME LANNISTER. I HAVE SO MANY FEELINGS ABOUT THESE BROTHERS, I DON'T EVEN KNOW WHAT TO DO WITH MYSELF. LOL Jaime is really the only source of love Tyrion had as a child, so I'm pretty sure that a large chunk of the goodness in Tyrion comes from his brother. I always wanted more of them in canon, but now I've got your Jaime to play off of, which is better anyway.

I have not threaded with all of yours (WHICH IS A CRIME), but can I just selfishly say that I fucking adore every time that Mad Sweeney and Crowley interact? They're both individually such weirdoes and together they're even more nonhuman and weird and I love it. Ditto demon posturing when Marcus was possessed. And then there's Luke and Jaime who only had one thread, but I enjoyed it a lot.

Point is that they're all A+.

Ah, and your pups! They're all so fantastic. You have every voice in your roster down pat, and you're just so freaking talented. Every tag from you is something special.

I am not familiar with Lincoln's canon beyond the gist, but I still get such a strong sense of who he is through your tags. I really enjoy him and Derek's friendship. They're so similar but in ways that complement each other and I love that for them.

Sweeney! His relationship with Rapunzel is such an unexpected joy. I tagged him because I thought it would be funny to have her ask for a piggy back, and that has somehow turned into this beautiful, pure friendship. Every single thread with them is just wonderful, and watching Sweeney learn and grow has been so great.

Your Hopper is perfect. The writers should have contacted you for season three because you get the spirit of the character. You've embraced him and all his strengths and his flaws, and I love his relationship with Steve so much. He really is like a father figure to Steve, better than his own over was.

Jaaamie! God, when you apped him I was just excited to have two Chalamets, and I never expected the bond that would develop. They've really become like family, and they both really benefit from that sibling sort of bond. They're just always very adorable, and they make me happy.

Your David voice is so perfect. Writing comedy successfully isn't always easy, but you sure make it look like it is. I can perfectly hear everything in his voice.

UGH I JUST LOVE YOU SO MUCH

You are such a genuine delight to thread with and I love how are soft boys have hit it off, AND how my soft boy and your THICC BOY did NOT. I can't wait for more of that and also other interactions like Martin and David or Anne and Sweeney... it's gonna be good. ANYWAY I love the energy you bring to your lads and I'm really glad to have met you!!

I have loved playing off you and your pups so much. You stood out right away as a great thread partner when I first joined the game, and I've loved all of our CR and getting to know you better! Greta and Demelza were fantastic (pour one out), and I LOVE Greta and Sweeney! They have such a solid rapport, and their whole relationship is just *chefkiss* Let's DEFINITELY thread them again ASAP because I miss their shenanigans.

I am also HUGELY looking forward to John having more run-ins with Sweeney, as well as developing a friendship with Marcus and trying to figure out how the heck to relate to Harry. It's going to be deliciously complicated and I am SO EXCITED.

I really love your pups and need to thread with them more in general. (Is it awful that I kind of loved Edgar and Jaime?)

The life you bring to your pups is so amazing and distinct. It's something I really admire about your playing. Each of them has a slightly different rhythm, different syntax, that seriously breathes so much life into them. Your strength in writing just shines through, especially with the variety of different pups you have.

And you? Are such a kind person. I don't talk to you personally enough and I should fix that because you're just absolutely lovely.

And thank god for your Hopper. Robin would be lost without him XD
