MEME: Reverse Questions

Muns: Post here listing all of the characters you play (you might want to list journals, too, just for reference) or are thinking of playing.

Everyone: Ask the MUNS anything about the GAME or THEIR PUPS, because we all know the muns will answer when the characters won't. They can be specific questions ("How does he feel about her?") or general questions ("Why did you choose this pup?", "How do you channel them?", etc.) You can even have pups ask the questions, but ANSWERS are coming from the MUNS.

What's something you want to do with Anthony?

What's the hardest aspect about playing him?

Aaack, I thought I had replied to this, but I never did. The time for the meme has long past, but I love these questions and I have answers!

Oh man, I want to do so many things with him, but right now I’m thinking a lot about how he’s processing learning about his future, and what more might come of that. In particular, I want him to contend with the fallout he experiences after it’s publicly revealed in early ‘80s that he was a spy. In the near future, he’ll be getting a newspaper clipping (as part of an item) that details some of the pretty dreadful reactions by people that he was still pretty close to in the ‘30s. He likes to think of himself as someone who Doesn’t Need People, but I like to think that he might learn to be kinder to the people he cares about when he realizes that back home, he eventually ends up pretty friendless and alone.

I think the hardest thing is that he is such an interior person. Sometimes rp can lend itself best to characters who are chatty and/or express a lot of emotions, and Anthony is someone who very particularly keeps his thoughts and feelings to himself. It’s important for me to hold to that (I love his intense interiority!) but I also know that it can sometimes make it hard for people to play off him, and I worry about that sometimes. When I’m writing tags, I try to give muns enough that their pups have something to react to, while still giving the sense that Anthony is always holding something back, but I’m not sure I always succeed.
