Secret Santa Day Three
Here we are on the third day of Chrismukkah!
Each day from now through Christmas, you'll find a post like this one waiting. Leave anonymous comments with your gift for your Secret Santee (make sure to put his or her name in the subject line so they can find it!). Remember, it's okay if you don't have something every day. We do, however, encourage you to leave a little note to let them know they haven't been forgotten. Christmas Day will be a free-for-all, where you can leave presents for anyone at all and, if you so desire, reveal your identity.
Let the gift-giving begin.
NOTES: Passwords for various uploading sites, galleries, the game anon account, etc., are available here. For those of you who'd like to play around with some Photoshop but don't have access, Pixlr is a fantastic online alternative that comes close. And remember, if you're posting pictures, they won't show up in an anonymous comment, so for those kinds of comments, it's better to use the
citysecrets account.

Tal!
Please check back throughout the day for three gifts. (This is clearly to represent the, er, three ghosts of Christmas Past, Present and Future or the three wise men, or something else pre-planned and nothing to do with Santa being behind. Ahem.)
For the first of these, some icons for Guy! Your santa went a bit crazy with the color alternatives, so hopefully some will do:
Meet us back here later for more!

Laine
Laine, you are amazing. You balance a roster of characters that is...large, let's say, but everyone in it is so distinct and well-established. Even when characters step out of the spotlight, tagwise--as all characters do!--there's still a sense that even though they're not as present in threads or EPs, they're off in the city doing their thing, living their lives until the next time they show up again. It's something that's a very hard thing to master, and you do it so naturally that I can't help but be impressed. While I haven't threaded with you as much as I feel like I should have, this year, I definitely want to remedy that in 2019.
In addition to being a fantastic writer, you're also one of the best people I know. You're funny, and kind, and care so deeply about the people in your life, and every time we've talked or hung out, whether online or in person, I realize again how much I appreciate having you as a friend. I hope you know that you're loved and appreciated, today and every day. <3

Santa, YOU are the amazing one, and you have given me several whole emotions. <333333333 This Christmas season hasn't been a great one for me so far, and your kind words mean even more for my not being in the best headspace. Thank you, dear Santa, and definitely hit me up for more threads in 2019/when you are less anonymous!

The masked gift giver whose face no mere mortal may behold has returned!
So we heard you like cats. And not just any cats, but the very best kind of cats...
May they tide you over for the time being until something slightly more impressive arrives. (Though what could be more impressive than a black cat tree?)

Faye
On the third day, Santa comes bearing another silly card and some points for Lyall. Though Santa has had few chances to thread with him this year, I hope very much to play with him more in the new year!

So two and two is...dubious presents?

Abigail
Martin is a character who’s fascinated me since he arrived in Darrow, in no small part because of what seems like the challenge in playing someone who’s constantly pretending to be someone else. Not at all surprisingly, that’s been both fun and engrossing to follow along reading. The differences between Martin and Moritz, and the ways in which the real person bleeds over into the role and vice versa, make for such compelling threads, the different layers there so deftly handled, and I know I’m always excited to see a tag from him show up in my inbox, because I know whatever’s coming will be good. I look forward to watching his story continue to play out in game and seeing what comes next.
New as he is, Donny already seems like someone incredibly compelling, able to leave an impression in just a few threads. It probably doesn’t hurt on that front that those few threads have covered so much, from the panic attack in the debut Santa may have spied on to the upbeat quality of his EP, without it seeming tonally jarring or out of place. That’s just who this guy is. It’s clear, too, from the way he’s written and the info on his wiki, that so much thought has gone into the subject matter involved, which is probably no small part of why he comes across as distinctly as he does. He’s piqued this Santa’s interest.
All of this, though, seems to be about par for the course. Having played off and around you for a good long while now, I'd be surprised if any of your characters weren't this well-written or thought-out. You're such a great presence in the game, and knowing that you've continued to be despite difficulties on your end only makes me -- and others, I'm sure -- appreciate you more. <3

Thank you, Santa!
