I think even with the full info, it still would have been filtered through the brain of a fifteen year old boy who hero worships Tony Stark so he likely would have done the exact same thing. He would have believed that Tony was doing what was best.

Um, bring it on. He's going to need people looking out for him. Plus he's clearly imprinted on Tony like a baby duck so he's gonna need a lot of guidance and help.

I have some ideas, and I'd be fascinated, but the big thing is the differences between the books and the movie. R in the books is older, a bit more pretentious?, and has some different opinions and tastes in comparison to movie R. I use the books to help flesh out a lot of the world building aspects, but haven't incorporated as many of those differences aside from some personality quirks.

I've kept the concept of R's backstory very vague. I have general headcanons (I think he was in college, I think he was a bit of a nerd, I think he had a rough home life and craved affection and companionship) and let those lead me. In The New Hunger, Marion heavily codes R's death as a birth and I like that angle. He's still new, and fresh, and a clean slate. He's learning and exploring. He has a personality, but he's malleable because he hasn't had many interactions or experiences to shape him.

Mostly she's just worried she'll never see her father again. Everything else is, like... it's scary, but it's exciting, too. She's not very easily frightened and she wants to try everything.

Veronica doesn't quite hate anyone, but she is still not wild about Verity! They got off on the wrong foot, like, instantly, and they've never fully evened out.

I think the biggest struggle is with pups like Eden and Cameron, who've been around for a long time, lost their social circles, and I haven't been able to find them many new friends, so there's no one to bounce them off of really. Forming new connections for old pups is always tough.

Harley is actually suuuuuper chill about that, 'cause she's a fourth-wall breaking weirdo who kind of just accepts that the world is bizarre and unknowable and full of strangeness like that. She's not too wild about it in the sense that it means the people who show up could be people who don't know her even if she recognizes them, but she doesn't mind the plain fact of it.

I don't want Cosette's whole story to be about romance, but I'm totally excited for her to get into a relationship, because Hugo had some very specific things to say about how she'd be shit out of luck if she fell in love with a total heel that I find fascinating. Beyond that, I legit want her to become a beauty blogger who promotes body positivity online and then, eventually, goes to school to study natural sciences at the same time. :3
