MEME: Reverse Questions

Muns: Post here listing all of the characters you play (you might want to list journals, too, just for reference) or are thinking of playing.

Everyone: Ask the MUNS anything about the GAME or THEIR PUPS, because we all know the muns will answer when the characters won't. They can be specific questions ("How does he feel about her?") or general questions ("Why did you choose this pup?", "How do you channel them?", etc.) You can even have pups ask the questions, but ANSWERS are coming from the MUNS.

For the last time we did this one, check out the tag.

BONUS: For a voice post meme twist, use sites like Clyp and Chirbit to answer with voice clips instead!

I hope you mean BOTH of her ENTIRELY-magic-Dads. Melanie adores them. She's still not used to adults treating her well, because it was so rare back home and she's so insular in Darrow. Plus, with no one being able to tell what she is at a glance, she feels like a lot of the goodwill strangers extend her way is basically rooted in a lie. To a small extent, that applies to Newt and James as well -- they've never actually seen her at her worst, even though they understand it in theory. But for the most part, she's extremely grateful that they're willing to look after her, and that she's in the care of people with the power to rein her in, if necessary. And any affection she receives from them is basically like a drug. :P

And OH MAN I would love for Harry to show up. Melanie would probably be SUPER awkward around him at first, both because she's not really used to interacting with (normal) children, and because she'd feel like Harry belonged in the Nook more than she did. Newt and James are the closest things to parents she's ever had, but they're still not really her parents. So she might feel a little anxious about being in the way, or being displaced.

I also think it would be fascinating for them to compare notes about their rough upbringings, because Harry was always cognizant of the fact that he was getting a raw deal, whereas Melanie thought her circumstances were normal, and had nothing else to measure them against.
