How is Nathan dealing with all of his feelings, for Chloe, Coop, and otherwise?

Having come from a war, does James still carry around feelings of being on his guard? If/when Harry shows up, how do you think that will effect their relationship?

If Aragorn and Enjolras wound up in conversation, how would that conversation go/how would it end?

What about the future most scares Enjolras? What makes him the happiest about the future?

Nathan, dealing with feelings????????????? HE'S NOT, IN SHORT. He doesn't have feelings for Coop beyond broship, that was a joke hahaha but with Chloe he's a ridiculous mess and I love it. He feels guilty about the fact that he's still technically married but he's also been in this city for two years and he's starting to accept that Elena's not going to turn up. He's got YEARS of on and off history with Chloe and she understands him like literally nobody else does and they're just GOOD together but they're both so stubborn neither of them admit it so he's mostly just a giant ball of denial. I could talk about this for days, stop me.

JAMES BB. He's started relaxing a lot more the more he gets used to Darrow, but there is still some part of him that's always waiting for the other shoe to drop. He's going to be SO DELIGHTED to have Harry back though it will be an adjustment that like... James remembers him as a one year old, all the stories he's heard are of an almost adult Harry and now he will arrive as eleven XD it's gonna be wild. I think it will force him to grow up even more which he's already done quite a bit of esp with Melanie now too, and he's going to be SUPER protective, at least in the beginning, sorry not sorry.

Oh wow that would be interesting. It's weird because Aragorn never wanted to be king and he's done everything out of a sense of duty and for his people and in a way that's a motive Enjolras would respect but he'd also still be 1000% done with King Elessar anyway just because KING. He'd dislike him because he avoided his responsibility in the beginning and then he'd dislike him even more for retaking the throne. I think Aragorn would think Enj is a little naive and would try and counsel him to calm the fuck down and stop rioting and Enj would probably be resistant but I ALSO kind of love the idea that if they were in a situation where say, Aragorn was king and Enjolras was trying to start a revolution, that Aragorn would be the kind of king who would sneak into the barricade in disguise and try and reason it out with him and Enjolras might even respect that even if it would confuse the fuck out of him.

He's scared of not knowing where he fits in now, I think. Enjolras based so much of himself around his ideals and what he thought was best for France and now he doesn't have any of that. He fully expected to die for his cause and I guess never had to think about what he would do after. Even if the revolution had been successful, I think he would have been at a loss because he's not meant for the quieter times? He doesn't know what to do without that fire and drive towards something, I think if he ever achieved it he'd feel lost. Which is exactly how Darrow is treating him. But he's absurdly happy that there's something akin to a people's republic here and he loves that some of his friends are here and whole.

So, will Nate punch Coop if he ever finds out that he's been hooking up with his girl?

Who from Aragorn's canon would cause the most issue if they showed up in Darrow and why?

He probably won't punch him. He'll be of two minds about it: one, Chloe can do what she likes and so can Coop and he thinks they're both awesome so why wouldn't they think each other are awesome? But he will also admittedly be kind of jealous and inwardly sooky about it. There's a good chance he'll just make a lot of sarcastic jokes about it to overcompensate.

I think some part of her is still scared she'll wake up one morning and be back home, she REALLY doesn't want to go back. Raven has a policy of NO REGRETS but I think she wishes she had cleared the air a little better with Finn before he died.

idk like.... SAURON >_> There's no one really that would cause issues for him beyond the big bads? He'd be so, so happy if any of the Fellowship ever turned up and he doesn't have any dramatic character angst because LOTR isn't that kind of story. If someone like Denethor showed up he'd probably end up punching him but he's also never actually met the guy, so. SOMEONE BRING ME SOME MORE FELLOWSHIP :DDD

omg he wouldn't be able to pick that's like choosing between children. THEY'RE HIS FAMILY. Personally I want a Legolas because their friendship is one of my favourite things but I also want someone to bring Boromir so they have a chance to be bros properly because canon RUINED THAT.

He'd probably be overjoyed and relieved to see Gandalf, come to think of it.
