To be incredibly pithy, in the words of Gail Carriger, "I like my women strong and my men suave and broken." We all know my types.

The truth is, I'm not sure I've ever necessarily considered one sort of canon to be different or to pose unique challenges from one to the other. When I'm dealing with film/television canon, the first thing I do is go to movie novelizations and supplementary materials and use those, filling them up with highlights and bookmarks. Either way though, when I'm thinking of bringing someone new, I review their canon several times, whether that means rereading the book or watching the movie. In both cases, I'm hunting for details, for speech patterns, body language, etc. With a good canon, text or film, there should be plenty of that.

Aggie will always, always want to make up for the childhood she didn't have and to live a life where she's not a freak or an outcast. Or if she is an outsider (the way I say she is at the high school), it's never to the extent that she had to deal with in canon.

Biffy currently has all that he wants, truthfully. He's got Lyall and he's got a pack, of sorts, that he thinks understands him more than he'd hoped from his original one (that'll change though, as he gets accustomed to his new memories and misses them terribly). He's also one of the pups I have who needs to have work to be happy, whether at Bardolf's or at the bureau he's trying to put together.

Tris...is at such a loss right now. I don't know what she wants because she doesn't know what she wants. Or doesn't want to think about it. Watch this space, I guess XD

Cassian wants a lot of things but right now the question is how to let himself have it. The novelization touches on a lot of how he doesn't always believe he's gotten what he deserves, which is a joyless life and then death, to match what he's had to carry out. With Darrow and with Jyn, he really wants to be normal and happy and to cook and play music, but he doesn't want to let himself.

Edgar would like SOME GODDAMN REST. Just kidding! Always, his main goal is just to be able to fully enjoy the life in front of him. He wants to eat good food, love fiercely, stretch his legs, and clear all the snow in front of him with a flamethrower.

Wanda has gotten a lot of things that significantly make her happier, such as her brother, but I think it's not unreasonable to continue with her arc from the movies. She's always going to worry about hurting people with her powers and that she can never be anything but feared, so it's made her defensive. So, really, acceptance I guess.

D'awww! Alec hopes he's a decent friend, then. He's still working on that whole being a person thing.

Cassius hates them all, yeah. Rhys would probably dislike a lot of them too. Alec doesn't hate them but he doesn't really care about them. As for getting along the best, Dutch and Coop. Absolutely.

Oh wow, that's a good question. Not weird but I've done a lot of researching of British slang and what British words are for what. A lot of research on the environment of Taipei and tons of research on guns.

I want her to be more public this time around. She kept a lot of secrets last time and didn't get super close to a lot of people (I think she only told one or two people about what Rapture really did to her), and I think she will remember that and realize it's not what she wants. I want her to be more of a teenager, too. Since she won't have to go through as much of an adjustment period, I want her to have more FUN. Something of a small-scale teenage rebellion.

Canon puncture. At some point, she will find the BioShock games in Darrow. And I'm going to see about playing with her artistic side a bit. Maybe get her involved in the music scene a bit? Also, dating. I want her to date some. ;)

I might! I'd want to give her some kind of mystery to get on, because Betty Solves Mysteries is my fav part of Riverdale (so naturally I decided to have her possessed instead). As far as canon updating goes I'll see where this season goes and then decide whether I want to give her that as a package deal, or incorporate elements of her development in other avenues, to actually get to play it out/not double up on how canon did it.

I mean, there's always possibilities, in the various mediums Betty Cooper has been a number of things; in one she is a werewolf hunter, so I could combine the possession with knowing Sam and go BETTY COOPER: SUPERNATURAL HUNTER. but PROBABLY I will stick with how they have her, with journalism, because it makes sense with respect to her desire to uproot corruption and bring justice.

With Eddie and Bev in the city, would you ever consider doing a plot based on the concept of It and having Pennywise in Darrow?

What made you want to app Gabriel? How easy or difficult is it to get into his head when writing his tags? Do you have any music you associate with him or listen to get into his mindset?

Cameron is about as prepared as a first-time father can be expected to be for having two kids at once. XD He's very excited about the prospect, more so than Jenny is tbh, but it's incredibly daunting, too. As much as he wanted a baby, he knew one would be a challenge, since it's their first. Two is going to be much more so.

As for names, they're still discussing, but Laine and I settled on Jacqueline Carol (Carol for his mother) and Annalise Hélène, because Jenny in particular is a Francophone snob. XD

Oh, my gosh, I'm looking forward to everything with Cosette. I used to play her a lot when I was a teenager and it's been a long, long time, but I always loved her and had fun playing her; I've never had her in an environment like this, though, so it's a brand new adventure. I'm definitely excited to see how she gets on with Eponine and the students, but also how she takes to this new world and modernity, how she adjusts. I'm also keeping a running list of all the delicious foods I can think of that she couldn't have had in 1832. :D

Heee is unlike any other character I've ever played before. I was, and still am, obsessed with his canon and I think in a city where there's constantly Weird Shit Happening there's room for a lot of growth for a someone with an interest in behavioural science. At least that was my intention when I apped him. I'm still struggling to find his feet but I think that's just because he's so different (and male, lol).

If she gets accepted her arrival will be met with her almost constantly trying to climb the walls and escape because being stuck in one place for more than a couple of days isn't for her. Then she'll probably be exploring places she shouldn't and searching labs and being convinced someone (a telepath? who knows) is doing this to her. She'll definitely try to break into Xavwarts. Beyond that, IDK, she's a mystery~

I think that, initially, she'll be very curious about Eponine, particularly if she knows Eponine is a friend of Marius. She'll be grateful to have another girl about her own age and from her own time and place around, and I think, at first, she's unlikely to recognize her (since she doesn't when they visit the Jondrette apartment with blankets and clothing). Once she does, though, realize this is the same Ponine she grew up with, she'll be fairly wary of her at first. Everything about that time seems to her like a very distant nightmare, and the Thenardiers are as monsters in her memories, so Eponine is likely to bring up some memories she'd previously squashed. She's a pretty tough kid, though, and I think ultimately she'll see that they're more alike than not, especially, as you said, since they'll be in a pretty equalizing situation. I think she could come to really like Eponine, given time to separate the girl from the parents.

I reeeeeeally want a played character to step up and run for city council or even mayor and let Stephen run their campaign. It's something he's really good at, and he gets sort of restless without a campaign to work on, but running one in Darrow will be somewhat different, and it'd be a lot of fun for me to run a fictional campaign! Plus it'd be a bit more of a test for him and Molly and their working relationship.

I have no idea if she has it in her to write a book about Darrow, especially one that requires interviews with limited interested interviewees. But she's always going to write. As for fiction, probably not? She was raised to write about reality and Darrow's specific reality is far more interesting than anything she could make up.

She'll settle for a healthy son.

It's hard to say. I'm still figuring out how to play someone that's going to lose his memories of the most traumatic event of his life. Having Eddie and Bev would make the transition much easier for sure, though, and he'd be happy to be away from Derry (while he still remembers it) but sad to leave the last place he was with Georgie.

Tough question because one of my difficulties at the moment is my pups' lack of lives? They don't do much.

I guess I like that Aurora is still writing even when she doesn't have the audience she did on Earth. She'd still been writing on the Avalon so I guess that's true to her. I like that her contempt for someone who hurt her hasn't ruined her love for people.

Serena... just letting her be a mother. She didn't get that in her canon.

Holden having to start over, in a sense, is really interesting to me since not long before his exit point he had the ego of... well, a really fucking huge ego. To see him somewhat humbled again while I still figure out plot plans has been fun for me.

Well, first off, clearly Marcus. Even though I haven't yet watched this week's episode, apparently there's some hardcore Catholicism at play, and it would amuse me. Plus the exorcism of Betty Cooper is on the horizon, soooo. Beth could also be really good! Or Hopper!!

Right now, the hard part is the plot I have going on with her! I'm not sorry that I chose it, but until I finish it, it's hard to put Olive other places, and frankly she's my favorite and easiest, so it's weird not to be trying to put her everywhere. Plus the fact that her friends keep disappearing and rebuilding social circles is hard. Also dealing with the fact that she is very much growing up, which isn't a problem for me, exactly, but I do sometimes worry that, in doing so, she loses elements of what makes her who she is in canon to other people. I want to give her room to become an adult without changing the core of the character!

He doesn't consciously want one because his experience with dads is kind of REALLY SHITTY, but I think it would be good for him. If someone were obviously trying to dad him, he'd be pretty resistant of that, but having an older male figure in his life to turn to who'd maybe be a counter to the influences he grew up with, who'd support his art even, that's something he'd eventually lean into. He's just absolutely desperate for love, and no amount of time away from home changes or eases that aspect of him, especially with Effy disappearing again.

Weirdly in a way: Clothes. She steers clear away from as much technology as she can, so there's nothing there that she appreciates-- It's still odd and foreign. But it's nice seeing women not in fancy dresses and long skirts. It's nice to feel the odd one out wearing pants and doing jobs that women shouldn't technically be doing.

She's a stubborn fool who refuses to like anything about it. That said, similar to the above since it's to do with the future: More freedom from gender conformity. Unfortunately, she has fare more dislikes than she does likes but I do see her coming to enjoy other things when she comes to relax--

Canonically we know she likes to keep up on law books and spellwork. So having the opportunity to learn more of the former from within Darrow's legal system and even magic from other worlds will (and has) peeked her interests.

Given how life has been treating me in regards to free time that's not something I've considered too much. I want to feel more stable before I seriously think about adding a second one.

That said, there is one that lingers when I do think about it: Gin Minowa. I really like trying to balance out my character types in a game-- from their personality to their lifestyles.

Gin's a sad, dead kid from a series of cute girls trying to save their world. She's lost everything and I'd pull her with something from that turmoil-- because Gin's also an idiot who puts others first. She's also only eleven and spreading tragedy and tiny children is my favorite thing.

Jacob is the easier answer here-- Life just sort of went on. It's not that she doesn't care about Jacob, but he didn't have the same impact on her as he did Queenie or Newt. Life hasn't stopped and she hasn't really thought about him.

Queenie, however, pains her. Part of the reason she doesn't stay inside her apartment a lot of two fold-- The Goldstein Apartment once belonged to their mother. We know most of the stuff-- down to what Tina wears-- was once their parents: She's nearly always lived in her childhood home with her sister. Thus, she doesn't see the apartment in Darrow as hers.

At the same time she hates staying there-- She goes looking for Queenie. It's too quiet in the apartment, there's not cloth strewn everywhere, and there's nothing cooking. Tina is almost always thinking about her sister, but especially when she's alone in an apartment.

Finally: As many as you can accept me for, of course.
