I think that is true of most things, no? Life is to be shared.

He said people could... shoot ice from their hands and that they had super strength. I've never seen such a thing. Have you?

Yeah. Yeah, I guess it is.

[ he smiles slightly, though it's hard not to wish he'd been better about that when he had the chance. he was a dumb twenty-year-old when he married Shelly; no matter what good terms they've stayed on, there's still a lot he would do differently if given half the chance. ]

I... Well, I have seen someone with super strength, but that was adrenaline, not magic. People shooting ice from their hands, though? That's a new one.

Hard to believe, is it not? I can scarcely imagine how that would look, and yet I believe it. Marius would not lie to me, nor would he make up such outlandish things, I think, if he were to try to. So it must be true.

I think I'd almost rather believe that something like that could happen than that someone would make something like that up, anyway. Not that I'd be in any hurry to see it for myself.

I think I should like to. This city seems to hold so much, and I want to see it all, and that includes the magic. I have not seen much of the world, but I do not think we have anything like that in Paris.

I would guess probably not. We didn't even have anything like it in Twin Peaks, and sometimes I think we wrote the book on weird.
