MEME: Reverse Questions
Hey, before I forget and pass out, here's your Monday meme!
Tag in with all the characters you play. Then ask each other questions. Questions may be from the player or the characters themselves, but answers must come from the player, since of course, you can't really trust a character always to answer truthfully. Anything goes, whether they're questions about specific tags, plots, feelings, characters, or just general gameplay questions.

What surprises me is that she's still clinging to the hope that Sam might come here, too. Or Dale or Rick or any of the men she's loved/thought she could love. I didn't exactly expect her to move on right away, but I've been surprised by how vehemently opposed she really is to moving on in my head.
And the fact that she's so readily taken on caring for Clementine. The story she told Mike about the twin boys she was caring for really traumatized her and she's always wanted kids, but now pretty much thinks she doesn't deserve them. So that she jumped into caring for Clementine without too much worry was a bit of a wonderful surprise.

And for a less selfish question, lol: what was the deciding factor for you in transferring Andrea and Lily?

My answer for Andrea is that I just want to be playing her everywhere and always. I love her SO MUCH, so playing her at two games is even better than playing her at one! Lily, though, took more consideration. It killed me to drop her at TR because of her relationships, particularly with Sawyer and Faye. She'd lost most of her friends by the time I dropped her, but those two relationships were extremely important in shaping her and that was hard for me. But at the same time, I knew her story was coming to a close there. TR isn't the right game for her, not in the long run, and I love playing her, so I knew I didn't want to drop her completely. Darrow offers more opportunity for her, more ways for her to grow and change and some of her friends were already here, which meant I didn't have to set her back entirely.

What is the hardest thing to play with Lily so far?
no subject
The hardest thing about playing Lily anywhere is finding that balance between the villain Nina sees her as and the person she really is. Because sometimes she can do awful things and she's disconnected from people in some ways, but playing someone who's completely disconnected gets difficult and isn't much fun in the long run, so I've had to find a way for her to slowly become attached to certain people without changing who she is. Which has been tough, but also a lot of fun and even though she's ignoring it now (and can ignore it, because she has Eden and Eames here), it's going to give me lots to work with when she finally starts to acknowledge that she misses Nina and Faye and Sawyer.

Andrea: Do you bring anything in from the tv canon?
no subject
Nope. No TV canon at all, because I hate what they did to her character on the show. Honestly, the Andrea on the show is an entirely different character. She hasn't had any of the same storylines or arcs (except having to kill her sister) and she's doesn't have any of the same characteristics that make Andrea so interesting to me. I consider them completely different canons anyway, given how different the show is in so many ways, and the comic gives me much more to work with when it comes to her. ♥ comic book Andrea.

Also I must read TWD comic. And um... Watch the show.
I am the worst comic fangirl EVER.
