Yes, my lord. I am Faramir of the House of Húrin, Captain of Gondor. [ and apparently with enough elvish blood in there from his mom that even legolas thought it was worth mentioning. ] I did not know this place could ensnare the Eldar as well as mortals. I fear it bodes ill.

This place marks no difference. But this is not my first unfortunate visit, nor do I expect it will be my last. Thus far it is an annoyance, and it will end as a dream.

As a dream? Tell me not that this is little more than a pleasant vision. For I walked alone in dark dreams before coming to this place and I will freely own that I am loath to return to them. I fear what awaits in the shadows.
