He's very curious about your childhood. That's probably what has most of his interest right now, even if he doesn't say as much. He's starting to realize, through interacting with kids at school, that his own history in Room wasn't very typical, and he's curious about other lives that were atypical in some way. I think for Jack, learning that would be more meaningful at this point than learning any of your (admittedly super awesome) practical skills. He bonds closest with those who help him realize that the world is nuanced and complex — and who are willing to help him go on adventures in it. ♥
