Your pup has just ingested a large quantity of veritaserum, or "truth potion." Any questions asked of them they have to answer truthfully, whether they want to or not! There's absolutely no way around it.

Empire killed my mother and took my father. He worked for them and I was raised by a rebel, until he ditched me. Got a bit more complicated after that, but long story short, I broke into an Imperial facility to get the Death Star plans, and then they fired the Death Star on it.
